Newbie collector here. I was walking around my local Walmart/Kmart/Toys-r-us looking for something that caught my eye just to add to my small and pitiful collection when I thought of something. I thought, "Whats the craziest thing someone has ever done for a /toy/ they wanted?". Since none of my friends collect, I bring the question to you. Now this question is very broad and generic, I know, but interesting nonetheless. This could be when you grabbed something from a kid that you knew would destroy it, bought something instead of paying a bill, or...

I spent almost $90 on a Bandai GMK Godzilla that had paint scuffs and no tag because I didn't feel like looking for one on eBay.

i spent 500$ on a haruhi figma set and 500$ on a k-on figma set back in 2009 when I was 18

Only thing that comes to mind is that one time I camped out all night for WonFes during the winter of '14 the day after the heaviest snowfall in decades hit Tokyo.
What Ibuki figure should I get, Play Arts or SOTA? Scale is not important and neither is price.
From what I can see the Play Arts looks more screen accurate but I don't like that her face is not covered up while for the SOTA one the pants look a bit odd and I was told Ibuki's legs are a little loose.

I like the PAK, it's a little stylized more than the game. Easy to pose, good range of movement, and it's pretty hot. Soft chest and ass. Only problems were that her front hair pieces come out very easily and she can't stand on her own very well so you have to use the stand.

The S shape is always good advice though. The basic idea is that straight lines tend to look stiff.
