Get a can of compressed air, like for cleaning a keyboard. Or simple rag with warm water.

There's also sideshow and hottoys figures, which are incredible but the bodies on sideshow are pretty bad and they cost about 200-400 depending on the scale .

What figures are you planning on getting? Not all figures even have bootleg versions to begin with.
If they have a generic stock photo and no actual pics of an in-hand box, request photos. It's not completely helpful, but i've been able to spot bootlegs by doing this.
