It's Left 4 Dead all over again except at least Pacific Rim had a successful run before it got canned. Of course sales are down when you're constantly releasing battle-damaged variations of the same figure.

Here's some tips from the previous threads:

For sculpting: use 2-part epoxy putty like Aves apoxie, Magic Sculpt or fixit.

For tools: try a basic carving/sculpting set like the kind arts & crafts stores have.
Dental tools have also been said to work well.
Also, using a Dremel is recommended. Minimites (the small $20-25 ones) are fine for starting out, but the battery life is poor. Upgrade to a corded one only if you want to get deeper into customizing. They are useful for stuff outside of the hobby though, so it's a good investment regardless.

Y'know...I guess I'm like, a filthy casual. I don't really care about range and shit because I only ever shoot my Nerf guns at my friends across my ~20ft living room. But man, the new Modulus stuff is kinda doing it for me, with some funky silhouettes that I really dig. Anyone know the name of that gun in the lower left? I think I need that.
