Yeah it's tough to say how I'll really react when it's in hand. I only had two or three sets when I was little that I always played with and so far have gotten one again to find it's just as awesome as when I was a kid. (pic related)
Other sets like Dragon Island I remember seeing commercials for, but never actually got so this is sort of a trial run. If I can enjoy it without having nostalgia for it I know it's worth getting more sets. If I don't then I know to only get the sets I DID have and loved and leave it at that.

Who remembers something like Mighty Max, except it was unfolding vehicles? They always came with a one-page pulp-adventure comic as well. I remember a six-wheeled jeep thing that unfolded to have this cool volcano in the middle, and you could drive the miniature version of the car all up around and inside it.

I also really like Chibi when it's not overdone. Like the MUSCLE figs. They still look menacing but in cute scale.

I had ones for Batman, Star Wars, Ninja Turtles, all kinds of shit. Pic related were probably my favorite though. They were a lot more simplistic but the figures were nice and chunky.

I've since gotten another alien from the same series, though it's lavender & can't stand up on its own, ha. The robots came from a 50 cent machine in a Ralph's Italian Ice somewhere in Long Island, New York. Might've been Coram. Got them Nov. 2014. Dunno the branding though, sorry. All those "MUTANT" related ones (Street Sharks/TMNT/Cowboys/Extreme Dinosaurs/Biker Mice) were too ugly and "mean spirited" to a pussy furfag scene.
I know that - i was almost sure im a furry because i "grew up with antro characters because they were badass and cool" and tried to go behave with them back in early 00s and quickly understood that furry scene is not what i expected.
Furry scene is not about mice riding bikes or sharks biting through cement.
It's about few degenerate spineless neets making pantomime at cons.

They were soldiers, green berets, frogmen, and other modern military factions about the size of a MUSCLE, Z-Bot, or Battle Beasts.
They were a little chubbier than GUTS, but similar. My neighbor had a whole box of them, but never wanted to play with them.

Mighty max was a unique toyline. In my years collecting it I learned a lot about it. Leave it to the Brits to create something macabre and yet badass and then Americans did a great job marketing it and making a classic show to tie it into. It was one of those lines that had hidden depths like the alternate color sets or the many different versions of certain sets. I collected a lot of stuff over the years but mighty max always found a way to surprise me with something I had never seen before. If you look at some of the unreleased stuff you can tell it still had a lot of life left in it too.

This game is amazing. 3D platformer, colorful, beautiful environments, play as 6 different ninjas you unlock as the game progresses, each with different weapons. Collect and use tons of ninjitsu spells. All the enemies are forest animals turned into samurai so when you defeat them they turn back into animals, all of which you can possess and play as (whether or not they are useful in combat. Basically only boars and bears can fight.) Still super fun game. Play it.

Hoping someone here can help me. I remember getting a bunch of spaceship toys as a young kid, so probably around the late 90s. The one that I remember was shaped like a stag beetle, but was coloured - I think - orange and purple. Pretty sure it had cannons, and the top of the shell could be removed to show the interior of the ship, might have even had little 1 - 2 inch figures inside it. I'm pretty certain what I had was a knockoff of another line, seeing how I'd get them from this discount shop. Hopefully somebody has an idea of what it was or what it was based on.

They're called Tech Deck Dudes. There's a bunch of different series. The best are from ones of the earlier series with magnetic feet and boards, before the gimmicks of the later series that ruined them.

guys, its been years that I'm trying to remember the whereabouts of a line of cars with silver 3d animal heads on the hood. the biggest piece was a truck with an elephant head on the front.

I had a small helicopter toy about the size of a Hot Wheels.
It was more like a bug though. The propellers where bug wings instead. It was like a wasp/hornet looking thing with a black head and orange eyes, some green parts on it too.

He was definitely teal and I think had brown/gold on the soles of his feet.
The closest modern costume design think I can think of is the Vanquish character design but he had link wings on his chest maybe? This is all a distant memory and could of been tainted by my imagination.

I was visiting a flea market with my family, among the other toys i noticed this tank that i used to have as a kid and showed it to my 6yo brother, he liked it and asked our parents to buy it.
