Would a tackle box be ideal to storing figma or other figures, or is there a better option that isnt too expensive?

Why does ThreeZero keep releasing figures from dead franchises? Now, that Caiman release was cool. Seriously though what's up with the decaying franchises? Caimen is gay as fuck. But anyway, I think they, along with 3A, get a license and then don't do shit with it for years. It took them 3 years to come out with a Halo 4 Chief, it took them 4 years to come out with a Transformers figure that's already not the newest movie, and 3Z is in the same boat.

Maybe their thought (and business practice) is that properties that were huge but are no longer "hot items" might find a careful balance where the costs to license aren't as high but the fanbase is still large enough to support the production costs for the line itself and in turn pull a greater profit than some costlier brand new and relevant license.

So Boss Fight sent two people to China for a week to speed up the process. Most figures are already at 99% correct before official production.
Will they come before Xmas? Doubtful. Probably January 2016. The bagged accessories are now boxed because the swords would poke through the bag. Several new Skeleton colors and Blank figures will be for sale in their online store separate from the Kickstarter figures.
Official Prices and Pre-orders to be announced "soon", so expect it early December. Card art still looks like shit. The card bubbles are cheap crap with gaps just so you can remove the plastic and keep the cardback.
US shop Kokomo Toys and some UK shop have an exclusive Amazon Warrior you can pre-order right now. Free shipping at least with the US shop.

I'm trying to find a neon genesis evangelion figure of Unit 01. All the ones I'm finding are only 5-7 inches tall and the only 12 inch one I found was $300. I don't really want to go over $100 for this. Any suggestions on where I can find a good figure?

The best one you can possibly get, if you ask me, is the SOC SPEC Unit 01. Unfortunately, the revised (and superior) verison might run you a bit over $100 if you buy from a Japanese site. I can assure you it is quite worth perusing.
Otherwise, there's not too much out there for the TV version to my knowledge. There are the early Revoltechs, which I've heard are kinda problematic, but look nice and are very affordable. Posing them might take a bit more effort than more modern figures, but it's not too bad with a little thought.
Someone buy this, paint the arms yellow, and put it back up for sale on ebay.
That would require giving money to the thing that painted their nails like that.
