/o/ didn't take to kindly to trying to make one there.

I'm not even sure if it belongs here, really; I didn't see an RC thread. This is more of a test to see if it works here; if so, I'll organize a beginner's pastebin and all that.

Getting cold out; I really need to get my rb5 back in action.

Just picked up an ecx torment yesterday and have been running it non stop and bashing around the local skatepark. Just taped some glow sticks to it and a headlamp to run it tonight. No lights at the park so this'll have to do.

They're pretty good in my experience so far. All are worth owning, but they're not perfect. I've got UW Superion, UW Menasor, and CW Defensor.

Known problems:
Menasor's the weakest overall in the hips department. He's also kind of top heavy, or he feels like it in my experience, which, combined with the weaker hips, can make posing him a bit of a chore. He might just flop over if you don't balance him out well enough.

Defensor's in the middle. He has some hip problems, but they're not as bad as Menasor. His chest plate though, is his worst feature. It doesn't really stay tabbed in too well. Can be solved by maybe making the tabbing more secure via joint tightening methods like superglue or futureshine, maybe. Or by just holding the chest plate when you move his arms.

Superion is just the most solid. Guys a rock. Not completely perfect, but easily the best.

You'll probably be best off looking for UW Superion if you plan on getting him though, people are scalping the shit out of the CW version's limb bots.

I appreciate the style and the sometimes pun names but they just don't appeal to me.
>>
OP here, just wanted to share my personal experiences with these fellas.

>be in 11th grade
>some kid in my class who we shall call carpenter loves shopkins
>at first I didn't really get why he liked them, I was just now hearing about them
>one day, carpenter gets a shopkin that he already had in his collection
>he gives it to me
>reluctantly, I take it because I'm nice to him
>Google shopkins when I get home from school to find out which one he gave me, since I knew they were selling like beanie babies
>it's cheery churro, and alternate colors one no less
>I now have newfound mutual respect for carpenter

I didn't want to reveal any names, because as far as I know he might accidentally stumble upon this thread somehow, and given the fact that he's in special Ed, that not might be the best thing to have happened. I have seven shopkins now, almost all of them are rare except for one ultra and one common

You'd think being a big company, Airfix could at least commission a decent modeller and get some photos for their website.
I mean are they even trying? Did they get Eve the secretary to build one on her night off? The Airfix tanks I built as a thirteen year old look way better than this.
[spoiler]they have nicely built plane models tho[spoiler]

Perfect timing for this thread. Any camera recommendations? I'm looking to get one black Friday or cyber Monday at the latest. Just want something cheap and digital, primarily indoors. As long as it's quality is comparable to a smart phone's camera, I'm fine.

What do anons use to diffuse? Is greaseproof paper too thick?

CW Leader Starscream, or alternatively, buy a few cheaper Decepticon figures?

I don't have a Starscream yet at all, and the only cheap one is the Armada version with the non-traditional color scheme. The others are expensive as fuck to the point if I am gonna get one, I might as well get the CW Leader.

Or I could buy a team of mismatched Seekers for about the same price as CW Starscream.
