Gunpla/Plamo Secret Santa!

Sign ups run until December 4th. I'll try to have everyone paired up by December 6th.

Like last year, I'm going to have everyone fill out a Google form so I can collect the information easily.

Also, if you have some kits in your backlog that you are willing to part with feel free to email me a list and estimated values.

Articulation on this MG is amazing. Almost as good as MG 00 and 00Q (it only loses out in terms of torso flex).

4 MB,
Greetings, /toy/. Unfortunately, I'm not particularly good at making my own Lego models. However, I do love modifying sets. Any suggestions on what to do to my Turbo Tank here? I prefer more visual, small function stuff rather than any kind of large structural changes.

How much articulation does the armor siding have?

...Also, which end is the front anyways?
>>
>>5286204
The large panel opens downward till it's about horizontal. Minimal on the rest of the tank, small outward openings.

I believe the left is the front. It's how It's what I've always regarded as the front, anyways.

Teacher of mine is auctioning her gi Joe collection. Any of these of any worth? Any particularly rare or valuable ones? Most are in good or fair condition. They start at 30 bucks. I will dump pics of the collection.

Technique Impossible kit from Kotobukiya
>>
Imo,
Robot damashii for the most wildest posability.
Soul of chogokin for best looking, will not be movie accurate since it reuses part from the TV version: movie eva 01 is more skinny and tall while TV version is slightly more bulky.
For kits I believe the kotobukiya is very good looking for movie version
Bandai's kit are okay if you want classic TV eva 01 look. But the arm is is rubber and can risk of cracking - your picture is the Bandai model kit.

In my opinion if you play to fiddle with it a lot go with robot damashii, if you want to leave unit 01...

The Kainars are pretty nice, though I really didn't like the comically oversized gun on the recent one. The rest of that one's good and could serve as a basis for any number of FAT MECHS though.

2 MB,
So /toy/, I picked up the Legacy Tigerzord today and gotta say. I dont usually have buyers remorse for shit like this but fucking hell this one is disappointing. I expected them to at least make it compatible with the older figures, but they completely changed the scale, the connection ports, everything. They even took away the light up and sound capabilities. Anyone else disappointed with the legacy Zords?

Buyer's remorse is only for those who are too stupid to do research before buying things.
>>
>>5283424
Well on the plus side, they are making the legacy thunderzord, so fuck it.
>>
Its meant to go with the other Legacies, not with outdated figures. Shame on the sound and light though.

>PEOPLE OF TOY!!!!! LEND ME YOUR AUTISM!!!!
so I got pic related at a barnes and noble outside my state and noticed some weird paint spots on his hair
at first glance it looks like the paint chipping away, but it's definitely drawn on there to accentuate the shape of the hair maybe?
the gohans at my local b&n had the same marks on the hair except for the far left one
it's the mark that's most noticable but for some reason doesn't show up that prominently on camera
anyway, should i go back to b&n and pull...

Is this thing catching on in a way it might pop into titanium or hot wheels starfighter lines? I love the design, but the xwing model is a bit too small and delicate fir my taste, and building a full size lego moc for two minifigs at minimum is waaay to big.
