Any /toy/ related mistakes?
My first real figure-related import purchase was SRC Gurren Lagann from a local anime shop. I spent like $89 on it.
With that said, the figure was so good I didn't really feel too ripped off.
Local anime store had a pit shelf warming at 70$ for months after smash 4 came out. Passed on it because not a fan of the character. Not much left to say.

I have the white Revoltech one and I absolutely love him.
He's fun to pose and comes with plenty of accessories. It will take some time to get used to Revoltech joints if you're new to them, but it's well worth it.
And yes, it comes in regular colors if white isn't your thing.
Your other options are the PAK and Hot Toys which look nice but both have their fair share of problems and are pretty expensive at the same time.

Got hyped as fuck over Godzilla 2014 and found the 12" tall NECA figure and from then on I was hooked
I always loved toys as a kid, and bought them into my teens. In my late teens and twenties, I decided I was too old and mature for toys, so I packed them away and focused on being old and mature. Then a few years ago, I was in a Toys R Us with my niece and nephew and I saw this 25th Anniversary Beachhead. I had to have it. Now I'm older and more mature and I buy toys without shame.

My gf moved away last summer and I started filling the void with plastic. I have no idea how it happened, something just told me to drive to the comic shop and start buying Robot Spirits. Now I go for walks with my toys, cook meals with them on the table, talk to them, and carry them around in my front pocket. It's crazy cause just 6 months ago I was a totally normal guy.

It's revealed in the sequel that the cupboard is not magic, the key is. Anything the key will fit into will have the same effect.
Keeping that in mind, I would rent a large enough garage or warehouse, then build a cardboard and plywood toy spaceship. Insert the key in the lock, and presto, real spaceship.

This is why we don't talk about the things you like, OP.
So, I just looked into it, and I'm so confused. At first glance, this seems cruel and strange, but like... They actually have detailed instructions on caring for crickets and the habitat is safe for them. But it still leaves a weird taste in my mouth to so openly use a small animal for entertainment like this. But they also push the obaerving crickets aspect, and talk about how theres even room for multiple crickets to live inside. I don't know how to feel.
