I said I would make a thread when I got my order comparing the official daibadi GK to their recast.
I placed my order on the 10th, it shipped on the 11th, and I received it in the mail today on the 19th.
What's in the box.
all the same stuff as the daibadi kit, except they also included 4 sprues with all the ball joints on them, which you have to buy separately with the daibadi kit, and another piece of paper showing the contents of the box.

Wish the intakes could split on this thing. I would keep the proportions of this and the neat backpack but somehow integrate Badcube's condensed windshield for the chest and split intakes

Anyway. Working at a toy store is pretty much like working at any retail job, it sucks, doesn't pay enough for the crap you put up with and at the end of the day, the reason why you started there in the first place doesn't matter.
Take my advice: go learn a trade. It pays great, most are generally easy to pick up if you got mediocre grades and the best part is that there are unions out there that will train you and pay you $17-20+ an hour to start just to do it.

Hey /toy/, I generally stick to 1/12 scale or 6 inch scale. But lately I've been holding back the urge to bite the bullet and buy a bunch of Acid Rain stuff.
Before I do I figured I should ask here.

3A Action Portable stuff for sure, some of the bots work well with acid rain as well so you could mix and match. The AP grunts and Nom commanders are the best figure options. The only issue you'll have is finding them at this point.

Has anyone here got any experience of whitening yellowed plastic on old toys? I've just bought some old Power Rangers stuff, but the plastic is pretty yellow in some places. I've heard of people using Bleach, Hydrogen Peroxide etc, but I'm worried of doing some kind of permanent damage. Is Retr0Bright any good?

Which SRC do you plan on using the stand for? Tamashii Stage Act 5s can barely hold GaoGaiGar up, and near useless for GaoFighGar and Genesic.

Time: early 90s. It was a mermaid doll, maybe only 4 or 5 inches tall. What made this toy weird was that instead of having a flat fin style tail the doll 'stood' on a sideways fin. o+--<
The head was soft plastic and it had stamped on 'Precious Moments' style eyes. She had green rooted hair. The body was hard plastic green/turquoise. I believe I could move the arms but the rest of the body was in-flexible.
