It seems Playmobil is teaming up with Funko to finally do licensed figures ala Lego.

Hey /toy/ I need your opinion. As you know I love deadliest catch but alas there aren't many toys out there. Do you think this is worth it? I love it but it's over $100 crabs to buy. Seems like a lot. Any help is appreciated.

Is Generations Scourge a good toy, /tfg/? I own Cyclonus and wanna give him a buddy. His Generations design has really been growing on me, too. I like it way more than the space-boat thing from G1.

Well he doesn't come with a targetmaster if that's what your after.
He does have a nifty transformation and good articulation.

Anons, what is this? New line that's only 300 yen? Apiece? There's also a black version of the character and a black version of the cart. Then there are accessory packs similar to pose skeletons. Whatever this line is, talk about it here!

Drop the coins into the slot and turn the knob.

What's the best ISS model one can get? The Daron 4D Vision International Space Station on amazon looks alright especially for the price but i'd rather get the best or close to it. There's also a revell one but it seems like it's somewhat outdated.

Saw the bandai EVA astronaut which looks alright. What are some other good space toys?

So, I found my old digivice in a toy box and figured I would open to clean it. One of the cables going from the speaker to the board broke off so I need to reconnect it. I was just wondering of one of you cutie pies would be kind enough to open the back of a digivice (if you so happen to have one) and take a picture of the board with the cables so I know what the fuck I am doing. I tried looking up some pictures, but everything was pretty limited, and the only video I was able to find that shows the cables looks like complete grainy shit.

holy shit these are cute as fuck

where can you buy them?
>>
>>5398056
The best place to buy them is from Disney stores (including online) and the theme parks. They also sell them at Target and most recently JC Penny (why there, I have no clue), but they seem to vary in quality.

You can check out the character list here: http://www.tsumtsumcentral.com/PlushCharacterList.aspx

With the first release bonus Saga might be worth it. And Seiya is at a fair enough price. That said, this line, though cool in concept, may not have the needed legs. The figures are fairly basic, though well done, especially for only 10cm. But then when you can get shodo vs or shodo neo figures at under 10 dollars each then suddenly these seem a little oddly priced. Not to mention the commitment bandai has to make. All 12 gold saints plus the 5 bronze is 17 releases. Then if they use exclusives suddenly they're hindering people from building larger constructs with the pieces......

Is there a place to even order this shit?

Actually, HLJ's opened up their orders, but Gemini doesn't even mention the first order bonus. I'm hesitant to order from them, given that they've had issues with first order bonuses in the past.

Anyone else hate being asked how much their purchases cost?

I used to live with 3 guys in an apartment, and whenever I got a new toy I would always get asked by at least one of them "how much did that cost?" And for some reason it bugs me. I have no idea what about it irks me. I'm also a tech enthusiast so the same questions come up there too, whenever I get a new device.

I've moved out of there and live with my girlfriend (who is supportive of my interests, thinks my collection is cool) now but I still occasionally run into the same issue...

I'm not saying this to be insulting, but you may actually have autism or aspbergers if that bothers you so much.
>>
>>5397970
I dunno, I guess to clarify, what bothers me is when people criticize money spent on hobbies. Being asked how much you spent on your hobby when you are just excited about what you spent the money on is annoying.

For me, someone jumping straight to asking me about how much my possessions cost is weird and reduces things that make me happy into price tags sitting on a shelf.
>>
>>5397970

autists don't have girlfriends or jobs and they certainly wouldn't care what normies think of their hobby

4 KB,
Why do people hate BBTS so much. They say their prices are ridiculous but from what I've researched they aren't at all. For example I was looking to buy the new figma link from GSC. The figure would cost about $42 with $17 shipping. From BBTS it's $47 and $5 shipping. BBTS is the cheaper option at least for me.

I guess if you only buy a single import meme figure from a popular franchise it's more useful to ship it with your Marvel Legends and Transformers junk, but I buy at least 10 import figures a month. Overall it's much more efficient for me to ship them direct from Japan.

Also charging more just o get a pristine box instead of lowering the cost for a damaged box is a terribly kike-y practice and I just won't support it.
>>
>>5396135
never had a damaged box from them
also

figma Motoko Kusanagi

BBTS: $59.99 + ~$8 shipping (5-8 days, usually towards the latter and that's not putting it in the pile of loot or the fact that their shipment wont arrive until March)
AmiAmi: ¥4、460 + ~¥1500 (3-4 days EMS, ships within a few days of release in February)

So, $65 (at cheapest) a month late, or $50 less than a week after release. Seems obvious to me.

I'll still go with them for western stuff because of their reliability and at least fair prices, but for anything Japanese I wouldn't touch them.
