51 KB,
Hey /toy/. So, recently I've been thinking about getting into collecting Nerf Guns and I saw that the Ionfire was avalible. It's around £15.47 from a discount store near where I live. Is it worth picking up? Is the customisation any good for it? Do I have to buy the attachment packs just to get any real worth out of it? I'd really appreciate some help.

It's not a very good blaster. They only pros to it, are the included attachments, probably. It depends on what you want to do with it. If you don't mind reloading every shot, and find this one especially cool looking, then why not go get it. But there's many other options available as well, with higher capacity and faster shooting.

What other blasters are better though? Would something like the Modulus be a better bet?
>>
>>5749132

You gonna be collecting or using? If you're using them the Stryfe is a cheaper equivalent option if you can get one.

Otherwise a modulus is fine, I suppose

Am i the only one concerned about this reviewer.
He films some videos in the bathroom, licks his lips a lot, wears a ill fitting batman mask and finds pleasure in swivels.

I liked him for awhile, lately he's been turning up the:

>LELSORANDUM SWIVELS XDDD

To uncomfortable levels.

>>5744831
>review toy and never seen the original source
>sex jokes everywhere
>muh engineering
>asian
>pretty much any toy reviewer in addition to the self-depreciation
It feels like satire. I like his reviews. The "SWIVELS" is starting to become overboard, though.

Still a better reviewer than mitchsantona all he does is showcase the figures and no thoughts on them

We are getting figures for the new Independence Day movie:

I had the alien fighter and that figure in your pic as a kid, they were both awesome.

You just made my day anon. Hopefully we get some sweet alien figures. I know theres a giant alien in the movie
>>

Haha, I felt the same way when I found out. I can't wait for the new movie despite the fact that it looks cheesy as hell. I Bought the prequel book and everything. The nostalgia factor is in full effect on this one.

If they're making that little then it's their responsibility to get themselves out, not to depend on handouts. Yes altruism is good and it helps people who truely need it but you should never feel bad about not giving more if you already do some. You're immediately better than everyone who preaches how much we need to help people but do nothing to combat the issues.

I grew up on foodstamps and handouts from family friends because my mom was trying to go to school to make more than minimum wage and my dad was dealing with economic pullback in an industry...

I suppose it would depend on how often that fuck-up is made.

I'm sure you could get more than what you paid for it, though, even if it isn't ACTUALLY worth more. At least one person would be dumb enough to pay double MSRP even if it's not worth that.

How much money does /toy/ to feed their toy addiction?

Me personally, $80 - $100. Currently collecting Star Wars Black Series 6" and McFarlane's 5" Walking Dead line. (Dis-continued)

/toy/ spend monthly *
>>
>>5743398

Typically probably 50-100 bucks a month as I usually get like a single figma or a couple gundam kits or something.

Though if HLJ or hobbysearch or something has a good sale this can easily spike to 300 or so.
>>
>>5743417
I say to myself $80-100 is a good level, but sometimes a string of preorders just come up and you feel like they put a gun on your head with limited release.

For example Figuarts Tony sold out on HLJ in hours, which kind of freak me out. I put him on Figinstock and had to PO him immediately when someone cancel their PO. Same deal with the recent deadpool. This month has been really bad for PO since I had to PO Figuarts Tony Stark, Revo Deadpool, Figma ZSS, and go for the 4 Horsemen Mythic Legion bowl on BBT...
