I never keep anything I win and instead just give it to a younger family members on their birthdays or Christmas. I really just enjoy the satisfaction of winning and it ends there. Kinda the reason I only go gamble for special occasions. Does /toy/ enjoy claw machines?

>tfw the rocket crane game from Toy Story will never exist in real life
>>
I remember seeing a video explaining that most crane games are rigged so only after a certain amount of tries the crane actually has a strong gripping force so people actually do win from time to time.

Whether or not that's true still I have no idea. There are people in Japan who have UFO catcher tournaments though so I guess it's skill for some machines?
>>
>>5556180
Older machines were skill and the new ones can be set for skill.

But most are set to pay out every so many turns, much in the same way slot machines are.

Granted, of you completely hose it on a turn it is set to pay out, you're going to have to wait around for the next payout cycle.

Are these Banpresto Eva figures any good? I've seen them at cons and on Mandarake a few times for very decent prices- they look surprisingly good for their price. Is there a catch? Also Evangelion general I guess.

1 MB,
Picked this bad boy up at Wal-Mart today. Pretty kewl figure DESU. It actually has decent articulation for a DC Multiverse fig, the same as the old Batman Unlimited Frank Miller one, except this one is obviously blue instead of black and has the traditional Bat logo. They had a ton of DKR 30th anniv. Sups' too but they didn't look so good (bad paint jobs). No Sons of Batman to be seen.

Also, new DC General I guess? Old thread is old.

Can thebmultiverse reverse flash head be put on the dcc figure, or would I break it if I tried?
>>
>>5545667
Picked hip and Supes. I really like the Supes figure, seems like it's a correctly proportioned one for once. Kind of thinking about picking up a second one to make a Red Son custom, and/or a second pats to paint the blue black.
Leaving them both MIB for now though.
>>
why does fat supes have better articulation than movie supes?

71 KB,
Does anybody here have this? I've always liked Casshan's design and this figure looks fun as fuck, but I've never bought anything from sentinel and I don't want to sink $80 on something when I have no real idea of the quality.

Noone has seemed to have replied to this, so shoot.

Excellent poseability, if flawless. Great diecast useage and paint apps. Think of a figuarts in regards to articulation.

Only issue I had with mine was it's scale. He's not 1/12 or 1/6, so he will tower over an six inch figure but be too small for say, hot toys.

If you like casshan that much, he's more than worth it.
>>
I have it. lt's pretty much perfect for display but be warned you may scratch the paint if you don't handle it carefully.

If you're after accuracy, there's another Casshern coming from BUToys. Closer to the cartoon and comes with Friender. I may sell my THFG and get this one.

I've never really understood the appeal of displaying unopened items. Without fail, the collection looks like a display in a comic or hobby shop.
Why not just open a shop OP? Or buy a retail display rack like they have in the store, and display them on it?
It would be like standing in the toy isle, but in your own house! :^)

What part of "would prefer not opening them" somehow twisted into some sort of way of saying "ill sell them"? I don't want to sell them, let me repeat this again...I don't want to sell them. I like the package they come in and it's not like I'm going to play with them, I think the box compliments the cars/decks
