What's a good way to start collecting toys? I know that I'd want to buy Transformers, but i'm unsure how much is a good "starting price" for a small collection. Should I just buy the ones that I think are nice, even if they're more expensive?

Western claw machines are a scam that only lets you win after so much money is spent.
Japanese claw machines require actual skill.
So i got this ghost battalion/bone brigade figure off of ebay. Hes really fucking cool, but i want to buy some other ones, specifically some of the army corps ones. Does anyone have more information about these figures.

Rules:
1) Parts, components, accessories, clothing, etc. do not count UNLESS they are a toy-character by themselves. (Ex.- power ranger zords, smaller transformers that combine, small minion-type figures like Dead Master's skulls, etc.)
2) BAF, customs, model kits/Gunpla only count if 80% built or more (paint does not count). The 1:1 version is the completed version.
