Krang is good except for the stupid hands (soft rubbery plastic). I'm definitely picking that Shredder.
Krange is awesome. Looks incredible. Hips articulation is limited and while the hands LOOK amazing, the soft rubber is annoying. I'd still recommend it to anyone. Probably skip shredder though. Too tall.

So what are some genuinely good 5POA action figures?
Myself I'm fond of Kenner's old Aliens figures, especially the Mantis Alien. The sculpting is absolutely top notch and they're posed in such a way that they look good just standing still.

Exactly. Hasbro's new 5POA figures are extremley cheap and they've got excellent sculpting.

Star Wars is shit. They keep expecting us to buy the same characters over and over again for 30 years, and now it looks like they're angling for another 30 years of the same. At this point it feels like I'd be buying Arctic Armor Batman figures. I don't care how "nice" the Black Series is, it'll be PotF2 in no time so what's the point in even buying any.

Hey /toy/, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I bought this Pyramid Head figma back in July at a con for about 50 bucks and it's been a really good figure so far but just today his arm snapped off. My bet is that one of my younger cousins found him and broke it. My question is, is this an easy fix? I've never really had any of my expensive figures break on me like this.

Yes and no.
Yes, in that any rube can slap super glue onto the broken area and never use it again to keep it in place.
No in that, even with proper pinning and tons of preventative care, the joint will always be useless because it will have a fundamental flaw that will re-emerge with enough movement. It's gone, dead, broken, finished.

Fun toys, I love that they have a rather impressive amount of articulation to them for what they are. I'll definetly buy more of the TMNT.
I do a lot of modifications, but I don't make from scratch personally. You might check the Customs thread currently running, and the Gunpla and Scale Models threads are probably decent resources as well.
When I was big into Medabots I made some of the Rubberrobo bots in cold porcelain. Used lollipop sticks for the joints.

I finally gave in and bought my first Figma. I've wanted this thing since I first saw it but could never justify the purchase. A while back I got a pretty sweet tax refund and decided to take the plunge. It just came in the mail and it's great, but I have two problems. Picture related. It's not my own picture, but my phone is being a shit so I just grabbed one off Google to illustrate the problems.

Be very careful with it, but sometimes these things do happen. I think you can pop out the middle joint, try working it a little. Same with ears, but again no hamhanding.
All right, I managed to get her ear covers off with some brute force, but her hips still won't budge. I wish I had tiny hands, I feel this shit would be a lot easier.
I just know I'm going to end up obsessing over this, use more force than necessary, and wreck the entire figurine.
I'm tired of Fwoosh reviews. It's all or samples & glossed over problems.

Most sites dedicated to toy reviews are going going to gloss over problems and make the toy seem better than it is.
These places rely on product samples to stay in business and there for are reluctant to give poor or honest reviews for fear that their free toy supply will be cut off.
There are some truly fan generated reviews but they are generally poor quality and hard to find.
If you watch video reviews I recommend watching them with the sound turned off and actually LOOK at whats happening...

Why has Transformers had so few crossovers edition?
I'd love to see a transformer crossover with a lot of 80's properties. Imagine an Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters, the Delorean from Back to the Future, maybe some of the classic Cobra tanks from GI Joe as Decepticons, and other stuff. Thundercats tank Autobot, anyone? Etc.

1) Hasbro needs the license. You aren't getting half that stuff otherwise. Even with the license, the licensor has to go along with it.
2) Certain properties like GI Joe are hard to sell international, if at all. Joe barely lives in the US as it is.
3) If Tomy doesn't want to mess with it then Hasbro handles it on their end without help, and we've seen how "well" Marvel and SW were designed compared to normal TFs. Very few of them were regarded well- only 2 I liked were Captain America/Hummer and Vader/Death Star and a lot of them were...

I mentioned Dougram because BT owes its existence to it, but there's plenty of "real" robot anime and the like, e.g. VOTOMS, M3, any random Gundam, or other stuff.
In any case real/super is a silly and inaccurate monkier. Robots should just be robots. Putting any thought into it besides light justification and "because it's cool" is going to start problems.

You'll probably want to go to a specialty forum where the users are nerds who are knowledgable about their hobby. This is just a dumping ground for shitposts and autism.
Hobby Lobby and Michaels(assuming you're in the US) both carry various dollhouses, both premade and assembly kits. Past that I have zero experience with them to say what brands or styles to look out for.
Miniatures.com is another option, and eBay/Amazon surely have listings as well.
