How are the bandai model kit stormtroopers? I just noticed they're about cheap enough that I could pick up 3 or 4 of them, but can they pose well? For reference, the only stormtrooper I've handled is the black series one, which I was very disappointed in.

Have there been customs using the stormtrooper body with a new arm? I was considering replacing the arm if I can't find another stormtrooper with something different, like a cheap marvel legends arm (head too if possible.)
Mainly asking because I am concerned that trying to do this without awareness of the internals would result in a complicated job because of differing shapes for shoulder joints in the upper torso.

Yeah, I have to say they did a good job showcasing the personality of the designs. They're a lot like Stormtroopers in a way, army builders but with some charm to them. Even with all the figures I've bought, the ones I photograph most (maybe besides my Shinkis) are my two Black Series storm troopers.

Get the Sandtrooper. You have the option to remove the gear and have a regular Stormtrooper, the black line above the eyes is somewhat adjustable, and it doesn't seem to have the "shrugging" effect that the regular Stormtrooper did.

Can someone help me identify this figure I found in my collection? I can't get a picture at the moment since my phone's kill and I don't have a camera, but it's a really old, cheap-looking Chewbacca figure with a really strange paintjob. Instead of being brown, he's maroon and gray all over. He looks really bulky and only has 5 POA, like something from the Power of the Force line except it's not. He comes with 1 or 2 different guns, neither of which is his bowcaster, and they're both really badly molded and have no paintjob at all. Does anyone know what figure I'm on about? This guy is wrong, by the way. Hasbro's costs are going up, and making a 3 inch articulated figure is costing them as much as doing the six inch figures. So they're pouring more resources into that while cutting paint, articulation, and plastic quality on the 3 inch line. Making the line an exclusive to Walmart is their final attempt to get rid of the articulated figures.
They've already said the line isn't "viable" anymore, they don't want to invest in it. You really think making the line a store exclusive was Hasbro doing us a solid? Hardly. It was planned from the start of this 5POA mess. You can listen to interviews from Toy Fair and SDCC and how they talk about the line.

Their articulation sucks, they're bigger than Black series so they look out of place, the die-cast results in a mushier sculpt, they have giant screwholes in their back. They are not any fun to play with.
But if you're leaving them in the box (heretic), then they are fine.
