So, the test figures are out, anyone have one in hand? I backed the line (orc warrior and the community figure with the orc weapon pack) but had no money to throw at these. Thoughts? Articulation? Fuck-ups?
There's a TON of pictures in a thread on the official forums. They look so good, I wish I bought some of the fully-armored knights when the price dropped.
What did you all end up getting? I got a row of good guys, a row of skeletons, a row of my favorite "villains," and some extras. I kind of regret not getting Atilla (lion head).

Yes, and some have, Pic related.
Problem is maas producing a toy is fucking expensive. You need to have an appeal to get these things produced, and nabbing a popular design is a surefire way to appeal. Until 3D printing is widely available and it's quality can rival mold-injection, we'll only see an occasional independent transforming robot toy.

So I bought a figure, there's a bit of paint where it shouldn't be...what's the best way to go about getting rid of it? I know this is probably common knowledge but I really don't fudge with figures too much at all

In those cases I use my fingernail or a toothpick to carefully scratch it until I remove the paint.
Not the most impressive way to do it, but if you have patience it pays off. I used that method on a 250 USD Soul of Chogokin and worked wonders.
