The articulation on the Legends will be much better, considering how much work has to go into the MS just to get semi-decent movement out of the diaphragm joint. But at the same time, that better articulation on the Legends comes by way of the shitty Hyperion body, which completely kills any sort of advantage it may have had as a toy. Marvel Select Ultimate Venom has a really good heft to him. While it is an early MS with a sorta preposed stance to him, good enough to get a few cool poses and is very big and intimidating looking. Ultimate Venom doesn't have the spider symbol on his chest, but since everyone loves the 616 version, they have an Ultimate Venom variant with the symbol and the one that fetches the more pretty penny.
Might be a bit more expensive nowadays.
Note: I had the original one, traded it away back then for a Dragonman, but then there's a rerun version also. The rerun version has a slight purple tint to him more, which put me off from buying him again.

XMEn embargo only stops them from making toys that Fox would get licensing fees from, so only designs from the movies aren't produced.

Deadpool is the exception, I see Deadpool stuff everywhere. I'm going to assume this is because his merchandise sells better than most MCU properties (I'm guessing only behind Spidey, Iron Man, Cap & general Avengers).

Here's what I did for jubilee. got a spider-girl (anya corazon) for the body. Diluted nail polish remover, and used q-tips to remove the spider logo. bought a jubilee head, effects, and two right arms from ebay. bought an old toy biz generation x jubillee (the one with the silly roller blades) from ebay (for the coat).
heat and pop spidergirl's arms, and left fist. heat and pop one of the jubliee hands, and replace with the spidergirl fist.
put it all together, bend jube's left arm appropriately, and you got yourself a relatively cheap jubilee. I'm sure there are better, more skillful ways to accomplish this, but mine looks rad to me.

The weird thing about Psylocke's high cut bikini outfit is how inconsistently it was drawn. Not in terms of artist to artist, but from panel to panel. Every time you see her from the direct front or from a 3/4 front view, it would appear that she would have amongst the mightiest bare-assed thongs of all time. There's a ton of staple spidey villans that I could see being BAFs. Hobogoblin set the precident for "guy with wings is enough for a baf" so that means vulture probably will be too. Same for absorbing man > sandman.

Because it just seems like a cheap thing to do. There's not enough there for me to think Ock needs to be a Build a Figure. I guess you could argue the same for Hobgoblin, which I liked.

I think it had more to do with the fact that he's mostly reused parts so there wasn't a lot of newly sculpted parts needed to make him.
It doesn't bother me though cause the Absorbing man is a great classic character that deserves a decent figure. The Hulk Classics one is horrible and the FFF one is just too small.
