I had a small purple one, he was incredibly fun until he got tangled beyond repair. Iirc there were a few different sizes, from 20cm~ to the size of a small child. There were bootlegs too.
Around the same time there was this hand puppet bird plush that was everywhere for a bit. It had a large yellow/orange beak which you controlled with you hand, and squeaked like a dying crow when you squeezed it.
I still have a burn mark on the back of my hand from when 5 yr old me decided to iron my bird while my hand...

Best place to Pre-Order this thing?
I'm thinking HLJ but he's a bit more expensive there, and I'm expecting to be blacklisted anyway since I might cancel an order I made for May
>I'm thinking HLJ but he's a bit more expensive there, and I'm expecting to be blacklisted anyway since I might cancel an order I made for May
HLJ isn't like that, they actually like doing business with gaijins and will gladly accept a cancellation. They'll simply put your cancelled order up for preorder again like a reasonable company would.

Nice, wish me luck
Hey guys, I've got a MSIA Guntank with some warped cannons that I'd like to get straightened out, but I've never tried fixing warped figures before.
What do you recommend for this sort of thing? I know hairdryers are common, but what do you do once you heat up? Just hold it in place with your hands or what?
>>5429452
Yeah, you can use hot water or a hair dryer.
But they will probably just droop again over time due to gravity anyway.
>>5429452
Hey, I think I have that RX-78...
It's the one that came with the G-Fighter, right?
>>5432161
Yeah. The one that separates and can join with the core fighter and everything.
Damn, those were some quality toys. And they were my childhood toys.
im buying toys in a country where people starve and usd to local currency is outrageous
i have started a normalfag entry level shitty collection with these diamond select
i just ordered a datong freeza from aliexpress
Whats the best shop to buy figurines in countries that arent the USA
AAAAND im looking for A Gouki (akuma from streetfighter) figure whichone would you recommend? as you can see my theme is villains and badasses what would you recommend me
If based on that scale Id say Neca or Figma
Brazil?
Depending on where you live, see if amiami or HobbyLinkJapan ships there.
>>5424535
Your best bet would be to find your local collectors. Assuming you're not in a major city, you can try searching Facebook with key words such as "toys" and "your country name" and you'll probably find the local collectors. From there, you can get info on where all the "secret" shops in your town/city are or get toys shipped to you from your local major city for the added cost of local shipping.
Also depending on where you are, weaboo toys may be the better alternative...

Does your wife like toys too?
>>5418086
Not really. She thinks the sailor moon figuarts are cool, but it's not something she would ever own.
I LOVE MY WIFE
>>5418086
I've never had a girlfriend anons. I'm so lonely and buy more things to make myself feel better. How do I get a GF that is okay with toy collecting? I'm going to off myself in a couple years at this rate, I'm so fucking lonely

First for 2016 SW sets in Canada when?
So my first experience at the Lego Store was very pleasant. Got my King's Mech and promo pack. Pick-a-Brick was lacking anything exciting. Unfortunately also the Klinkers Mixels were sold out. I needed that Jinxy.
Does anyone with the King's Mech also have an issue with the right arm not wanting to stay up due to weight on the joint? I didn't know if it was a defective balljoint or just design flaw.
>>5430504
Also I haven't bought a set in ages. Do they normally come with this many spare parts? Are the spare parts random for each box? I got an extra beard which I was surely excited for. Threw it on one of my forestman.
Anyone that can confirm that this will somewhat fit in a Detolf? Thinking of picking one up and removing one glass plane in a Detolf in order to get the height right but unsure about the width.
Anyone got one for precise measures or even a detolf to try?
Also thinking of spraying the inside of the windshield with black paint to get a better look.
>>5431304
>Anyone that can confirm that this will somewhat fit in a Detolf?
I remember having this set around 2005 (might have been an older one cause I can't remember it coming with any minifigs aside from Boba Fett), it should definitely fit in a Detolf lying flat, though it will probably have to go in at a similar angle as the one in your pic.
>Also thinking of spraying the inside of the windshield with black paint to get a better look.

This is a much bigger set then the one you are thinking of. Its the latest one.
And the glass has a black tint to it in the movies, its not clear. :)
