Is the BS Kylo Ren w/ Star Killer base meant to have texturing on the shawl? Because when I looked him up online it seemed like it was meant to be smooth but the one that I recently ordered has a lot of heavy texturing on it.
I'll admit that I'm pretty content with it along with my SHF Kylo Ren. I don't think I like him enough to feel the need to do a kit-bashed version between the two honestly.

I've found that some Walgreens get partial cases, so if you find two figures at one location, the next nearest Walgreens probably has two different figures. I also noticed that my nearest one seems to get the primo figures. I found Cody, IG88, Troopers, while others had the peg warmers. So it may have to do with how good the sell through is at each locale.

It is a little blurry, this is pretty common with printing method used for these faces, since they transition color a lot more on the smaller surface rather than using hard dividing lines and lots of flat continuous color. It doesn't look nearly that blurry in person.

Black series ig88 is outfitted with double jointed knees, and works well for a droid, you just have to use inhuman poses to get dynamisicim from him, and he really should have been a harder plastic, but oh well.

That's a hard choice. Right now it's probably Bandai's Scout and Speeder kit, since I've spent so much time and energy on it. There's problems with it, serious problems, things that are done objectively better on the black series version, but I've lavished it with so much attention and affection it's hard not to say it's my favorite right now.
My favorite of all time, though, that's a conundrum. MAFEX Vader is probably tied for number one with Black Series Han Solo, but Black Series Stormtrooper is probably a close second, considering I have three of him already.

Thanks, it looks.. pretty damn good actually. At first glance there are some noticable differences in the helmet + size of the breastplate, and just the overall look of the plastic in general. The details are a little less defined on the KO, but not by too much. I doubt you'd be able to tell the difference without comparing them side by side.
