I'd say a good pair of dark jeans and a dressy top with sandals can be dressy enough. Or just a darker dress with less patterns that is cut a certain way can draw attention away from those areas.

My grandmother insulted my husband's cooking and he's pretty upset about it, and I don't know what to do or say to make him feel better.
She's extremely hard to please and doesn't like a whole lot of foods, so he made a typical southern country breakfast; Biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, homefries, and hand squeezed orange juice. It was pretty good, but he also cooks at a restaurant for a living so that's a given.

There is something I noticed with my boyfriend of 2 years. Whenever I am stressed, mad or upset, he pulls away from me and doesn't really talk to me. Are all guys like this or was I really lucky with my ex? My ex used to cuddle me and text me until I felt better again but my current boyfriend just goes silent until I come around.
I am thinking maybe he is not the right one for me since I don't feel like I can find comfort in him when I am upset.
Deal with your issues like an adult and don't expect to constantly lean on him.
