I can't connect with anyone. I once had a gf and we were really close and she was the only person to whom I've ever felt this way. I have a lot of friends who are always talking to me and inviting me to play something or whatever but I just don't feel a part of anything.
However, there is this one girl I really like and I feel really at home with her, but she certainly doesn't feel the same way about me. So, basically, the only one I feel the urge to get close to is the one who actually doesn't give a fuck. Anyone with similar experiences to share...

I can relate, my immune system spent my early 20's trying to kill me, due to all the illness and turning people down without explanations i lost all my friends.
Now im on an immunosuppressant i get colds and flus all the time and still have to cancel on people but i take the time to explain it to people.
Anyobe who doesnt give you a pass after you explain your issues isnt worth your time.

I've recently begun realizing that the root of my unfulfilling life is my anger and lustful habits. My girlfriend found out that I'm trying to tone down our sexy times to a tame 0, and she suddenly threw herself a pity party and attempted everything she could to make me feel guilty or to mock me. That's not something that you can do. If you don't want sex and she does, you're incompatible in one if the main areas of a relationship (the physical/sexual).
Help quitting weed? I smoke daily and experience uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms when I go more than a few days without getting high. It's been five years of this and I'm starting to realize how much I've missed because of it.
I've tried to quit a few times before , best I did was two weeks. Any /adv/ice?
Just go cold turkey pretty much how I did it. You went two weeks that's an accomplishment after 5 years the next time will be easier you might give in that's okay just try again. The thing about a habit like that is it might take while to break it's part of youthe daily routine. At least you know there's no crazy withdrawals like with the harder stuff

It must be the mechanism behind how accounts are promoted in their algorithms. Maybe new accounts are promoted more frequently than less active ones. I don't know but that seems like a likely solution. After a grace period of putting you on top of people's list maybe you're brought down a peg or two for other new users.

Are you living in the dorms? Everyone will be in a similar situation and will be open to meeting new people just allow yourself to be in social situations and put yourself out there. Get involved on campus too I was on my colleges mock trial team all four years and met great friends through that and really improved my ability to speak in public.
