i have some shitty autoimmune illness that makes me unreliable af. for a while i was having neuro symptoms but they subsided. before i moved, people thought i was fucking up my life on purpose because crazy/druggie/idiot. now they just think i'm a lazy asshole.
how do i "prove" my claim that none of the above?
Have you explained this to them?
I can relate, my immune system spent my early 20's trying to kill me, due to all the illness and turning people down without explanations i lost all my friends.
Now im on an immunosuppressant i get colds and flus all the time and still have to cancel on people but i take the time to explain it to people.
Anyobe who doesnt give you a pass after you explain your issues isnt worth your time.

i agree that none of them are worth my time, but i have to live in this world after all.
for years and years didn't have a dx at that and couldn't even give a rebuttal. that was no fun.

I don't know what you can do other than know you're right and try to ignore them.
If you can get black and white proof of your diagnosis maybe it might help
