/adv/, I go to a club in town approx 3 nights a week, and without going into a lengthy story about our history, I'll just give a general "halp" statement.
There's another regular guy who goes there who is highly influencial, he has a bunch of buddies that go and a group of ratchety yet attractive girls that hang with him.
Anyway due to shit in the past he basically now goes out of his way to either cock block me or make my night shit by, for instance, telling any girl I talk to that I'm a creep, or a fag, or whatever.
I've never given him reactions since he's started doing this but it's starting to be very annoying.

Basically in the past we tried to be friends but our personalities clash too much. Ever since I fucked one of his friends he's been on this warpath. I'm just saying what happened. I take a loose interpretation of the bible, and I'm probably more open minded than most people but I still believe in god. Asking someone that you believe makes better choices than you to help you find someone that won't fuck you over isn't really a bad idea. I'm from Italy, I'm 19. My life is average at best, no real friends, family is hot garbage (drunken father and non-existant mother) - I inherited through some ways a decent amount of money and I plan on using them to start my life. I wanna go live on my own, get a small apartment, and work on my passion (videography). But I've also been planning a trip, my first one off this shitty land, either to Tokyo or New York. I plan on moving to New York (or the United States) in a few years anyways, like most youngsters do. This country is falling apart, everything good we had has been sold or has been destroyed, there's nothing for me here. (This is what many young people think, and they fuck off as soon as possible).
Now, do the math. I have cash (22000$ give or take), I'm sick fucking tired of this cancer country and my family (I'm living on a couch and all my possessions are in a corridor of my father's house as we speak), I wanna move to the U.S asap and I wanna work on my career there. Should I just do it? I won't leave much behind, aside from my best friend.
I could live off the cash I have for a few months, and then I would find a job, even the shittiest one would be fine, anything's better than here. Should I just do it?
New York is way too expensive (housing, food, education you'll be paying for - unless is public-) why don't you move to LA or San Francisco. Current Starbucks barista here.
I've been at Starbucks for 1.5 years. The first month is hard. They used to give you 2 1/2 weeks of training but now training is only 3 days. There are a lot of drinks to memorize but most of them are based on the basic easy drinks like lattes, frappuccinos and drip coffee. The good thing is that you start off with the easiest roles, she wont be on bar making drinks (which is the hardest role) until a month into the job. Also if in doubt when writing drinks on the cup, the register tells you exactly what you need to write on the cup and your sister can always ask the customer to repeat the order if she didnt catch it at first.
I think Starbucks is one of the best wage jobs out there
