Okay I have absolutely the worst procrastination habit. It's starting to affect my school attendance since I skip class to buy more time to do an assignment. Any hip or stylin' tips and tricks to help a homie out?

so if you cannot motivate yourself (pro-tip: you're in for a mediocre life) then ask someone else to motivate you.
friends, family, roommates, whoever you see most consistently and doesnt mind babysitting. your job is to report your homework to them, and their job to schedule out what you need to do, and keep you at it.
and if ur good you get a cookie.
also, consider getting childblocks or other blocks on your computer that prevent time wasting websites. give ur friends the opportunity to make the password so you dont know it.

So recently I found out that my girlfriend lied to me, lie wasn't even that much big, we were sitting and talking so I asked her out of blue if she likes pictures of guys on social media, I wouldn't get mad because of that if she didn't swear that she doesn't, she even got mad that I asked. Next day she wanted to show me some stupid video on instagram so she had to go to liked pics to find it, she moved back a bit so I couldn't see but I actually saw. I broke up immediately just because she was lying, she then begged me not to break up, I asked her to tell me what else did she lie.
She didn't cheat though, should I forgive her?

I can't stop eating or drinking. It's become a legitimate addiction for me. I don't want this for myself, but i can't stop.
I've tried AA, I've tried SMART, I've tried praying, I've tried working out, I've tried becoming a workaholic, I've tried delving into my hobbies, I've tried all that shit, but I simply can't stop for longer than 6 months.

If you got time, only buy food for the day. Bring cash, no credit cards. You'll get used to it. Or think about why you need to eat that much, its kinda like a drug so...
Sleep more and drink water, 1l to 2l try to eat less sugar food
you can eat what you need a day little by little if that can help
Start lifting weights. Works great to relieve any stress or whatever. Plus drinking kills gains, so if you get obsessed with lidling you have yet another reason not to drink

Hey advice...I need some advice.
I'm a 22 year old guy who since November been working as a financial analyst in a hedge fund. I finished my degree in finance last year with amazing marks, having topped a few subjects throughout my time. This is my first 'real' job in the industry.
I am depressed, anxious and sick of everything and its only been a short amount of time. The people in the industry are nothing short of terrible in both character and work ethic, I wake at 4:30am and go to bed at 8:30am with no time for myself in between. I have no friends, no significant other. I feel alone, scared and I just don't want to do this anymore.
So the question is - Should I quit my job? I know it's a big mistake in quitting your first graduate role but I am seriously afraid for my mental health. I feel like my life, day by day, is simply heading to auto pilot mode where i'll be stuck.
There is no support from anyone here, I feel like I'm not learning anything and I feel dumber. I went from one of the best students in my field at university to forgetting and not understanding the basics of investments work.
I don't see myself doing this for the next 40 years.

Literally any buyer on ebay that tries to make you do a transaction OUTSIDE of ebay is a scammer.
Why the heck can't they just hook up their checking acct to paypal?
It's literally the point of paypal-a convenient way to sync bank accounts and cards etc through a virtual account.
If theyre willing to pay you through a tedious check system, something's probably up because syncing their account to paypal or just transferring the funds like a normal ecommerce user is far more convenient.

Or rather, you stop waiting to not be anxious. That's a vicious cycle: the only way to get over anxiety about a thing is to do that thing, so as long as you wait to not be anxious first, it will never happen. The only way to get over it is to fight through it. Even then, you usually have to repeat the process several times. But nothing else works.
Hey /adv/, my names fucked.
So one night, drunk, I posted on this anon. app, "I want a girlfriend that looks like a boyfriend." This girl replied saying she wanted to talk because she was a 'tomboy' so we have been on a different app(no phone numbers) for three days now. We are really hitting it off and we seem like a good match.
The problem is when she eventually wants to meet up. I am disabled and only have one arm, moderately bad acne, and I am 15 pounds over weight. The acne and weight I can work with but I feel like the one arm thing is too much. We haven't described to much about ourselves and all I know about her is that shes Euro/Asian.
What I am asking is when should I tell her that I am disabled or should I just stop? I really like talking to her but I am pretty sure her intentions are to meet up. I don't want her to think that I am trying to trick her but I also really like talking to her, what would you do?

You should tell her about the arm. Don't worry about it too much, I think she'll understand. If she doesn't, well, she wasn't worth it at all. People who can't deal with your dissabilities should be out of your life anyway. In fact, if I have to be completely honest, I think the acne problem is more important than the fact that you don't have an arm, and you shouldn't be worried about it either because it's not that hard to get rid of it, neither is to lose weight. Just try it.
As I said: if she accepts you as you are, great. If not, she's not worth it. And think that if you really want to be with someone, that other person HAS to accept the fact that you don't have an arm. It's not a big deal anyway...

The only thing you can do to actually help her is to tell her parents or an authority figure and to get her actual help from a therapist and a drug counsellor. You(who I assume is 15-17 years old) have not been trained on how to help someone in he way that she needs help. Please tell an adult and get her professional help

Work experience is only beneficial if you leverage it as "customer service" "teamwork" or some other cliché business skill you see as a desireable trait in job ads. I'd personally think 3mo. is enough to prove that you've attained a skill, but résumés are there to get you interviews, not jobs (though they can be the determining factor if the employer is stuck between choosing applicants).
