Hey /adv/, I got a question. I feel like I'm annoying someone without actually knowing I'm annoying someone. I mean he's a pretty cool guy but I almost feel like he's being nice just to be nice. How do you know you're annoying someone? Is there a way to find out without being too obvious? Should I just go away and never look back? I don't want to unintentionally be the shadow of someone's day. I mean he seems like the guy who would tell me to fuck off if I'm bothering him but you never know.

Perhaps he isn't really being annoyed. Or perhaps your type of annoying is tolerable enough that he doesn't mind humoring you.
There's no way to know. Don't do anything stupid. He may be totally fine with it. If it was adversely affecting his life, he will most likely tell you. But since it isn't affecting his life much at all, there's nothing to worry about.
I know this feel too well anon but the best thing to do is to just assume you're not annoying him and act as you normally would. If something in the way you naturally are is annoying to him, there's no point in pursuing the relationship further anyhow.

How do I write inspired lyrics and vocal medlodies?
You don't. The harder you try, the more it will sound forced and bland. Try to trigger the inspiration by practicing more your other hobbies. You obviously like music, so keep on listening new stuff to get cool ideas. For the lyrics, you could start reading poetry books or novels in general. Just don't push yourself too hard. Inspiration is something that comes naturally.

So I got a call back for a job I applied for and they want me to come in 5 days from now, no doubt they'll drug test me
I'm 5'11 and 155 lb and have hardly any body fat. The last time I smoked weed was last night and I haven't done any other kind of drug in my life (I don't even drink anymore).
Will 5 days be enough or am I fucked?

The 'Good ending' would be the best ending but due to things such as family complications and problems with what some would call 'friends' if you catch my meaning is one of the issues why we talk so often; I can't and don't want to see her feel any worse than she is doing.
Since I've moved into my own place, I've started cooking a lot
I really like cooking, it's fun it's relaxing and I make pretty good stuff. Nothing too fancy (I think); asian food, italian, I bake various cakes n cookies etc.
However, I get very mixed reactions from people when I share stuff like this, especially if I'm excited about it. I'm really proud of what I make sometimes
I keep getting the feeling that most people see cooking as un-manly. How wide-spread is this? If it's of any importance, I'm in Europe; I know these things differ quite a bit depending on culture but still

well think of it this way. there are lots of men asking most any worthwhile girl out. so they have options. but thats a double edged sword. they realize that they may be the 5th girl you asked out, or at least attempted to get close to this week.
the reality is that guys hit on just as many girls
as girls get hit on by guys.
so why would a girl think you ACTUALLY think she is special? why would she think you are anything authentic? by your own admission you just 'want a girlfriend'. and ur only requirement is the vague 'doesnt suck too much'.
