So guys, I kissed a guy I work with's girlfriend.
>At party
>She slips me a note on her phone saying "If I wasn't with anon, we'd have had sex by now"
>Proceed to kiss her
>Felt guilty so I stopped it
>Next morning
>"I'm going to have to tell Anon we kissed"
>She is going to downplay the whole thing and make it...

Now you get to face the consequences of your actions. You chose to kiss her knowing full well what could happen. I don't have any sympathy for you. He'll probably be mad at you for awhile.
You made your bed, now sleep in it. There's no real strategy to this. Let her do what she will and handle the fallout. It's not like your entire life is over now. He'll do whatever he'll do and then it's over.

Thanks guys
How do/did you find yourself?
When? And what happend?
I think there are two key concepts at play.
- You are your habits, you become what you repeatedly do
- You can change who you are by picking up new habits
The problem which remains is to identify the things you like to see in yourself. It's quite difficult to do introspection when you are constantly busy with everyday life which is why it's best if you have a way to disconnect, to fly away from your stress for a period of time and gain a clear perspective on your life. Try different things, talk to new people.

A few years ago. I realized that I'm a worthless sack of shit who is borderline sociopathic. It made me feel freer but at the same time bad because I know that my entire life is a lie.
I came to the conclusion that the "self" as we commonly think about it is an illusion and that I'm nothing more than the outcome of circumstance and experience. After that it was pretty easy to figure out why I make the decisions I make and why I have the opinions I have.
Someone on my course forgot to log out of their gmail account.
One other person thought it would be funny to go on, change all his details and then send private emails to his bank/girlfriend and family members.
The guy whose account this belongs to found out a few hours later and has reported the incident to the head lecturer on my course.
I know who did it and he is a real dickhead but I don't want to publicly announce that it was him (no one else knows).
I'm thinking about sending him a voice changed phone call using an unknown number to let the "victim"...

If neither party is your friend then say nothing and go on with your life. You're not some vigilante police with your stupid idea of a phone call nor is it on you to rat on someone.
>>16953714
Just tell the lecturer in private. They're not going to out you
>>16953714
Are you seriously this retarded? So what if this guy finds out it was you? Are you some sort of bitch? Just tell the fucking professor that you saw this guy doing that bullshit.
Hello adv.
I dont want to sound like an uncaring asshole but why is it that a lot of my friends comes to me for help with their life and mental problems.
>A girl cried to me cause she was afraid she was gonna fail a test
>friend A went through a suicidal phrase and i was always there to get him out of it, giving him positivity and wisdom
>friend B currently (pic related) doesnt fit in very well and is generally failing school. Says dumbshit and lose all his friends then come...

Because you don't have any friends you could tell about it. That's why they abuse you and you posted it here.
>>16953700
>mentally ill
You sound two faced, like you care but you think they're a piece of shit
Tell them to stop. People will talking to you about their problems until you tell them to stop. If you don't speak then people will assume you want to continue to listen. If you don't want them to think like this then speak up. Be direct, make a short sentence, say you're not interested to listen and stand your ground. That's it.
Where can I do it? These two girls took out a fraudulent lawsuit against an artist friend. We need revenge.
Who the fuck cares
Look OP, I'm going to need some more information before I teach you how to ruin a life.

Cold turkey no weed after years of heavy use.
Cheat hurts and I can't tell if it's lung damage, anxiety or what. Feels like my chest is in a vice around my sternum.
Anybody have a similar experience? What happened?
You should taper instead after that long

I feel really sketched out right now and I have to go to work soon, so I can't get even a little high.
Suggestions?
It may just be anxiety from not getting your regular fix. Still, if it gets any worse, go to a doctor.
Last thread died. Female singer, mainstream pop/pop-rock pretty sure its from the late-90's could be early 2000's. It has a lyric like "you don't feel it but i do"
and repeats Something Something but I do in the chorus.
Made a vocaroo of what little I could remember.
Please help!

THANKS!
I fell asleep today at work during a meeting, again. At first i thought this is because im not sleeping enough at night but for the past 2 months ive gotten 6-7 hours of sleep at night during the week. I find it hard to believe this is so little sleep that i get sleep attacked during team meetings and while im driving.
Im not always this prone to falling asleep. I go through cycles of emotional highs and lows every few months and when im on my high period i dont fall asleep at all. This makes me feel like it's related to my hormones.
Has anyone had similar problems?
You could ask a nutritionist to do a saliva test to see what's up with your adrenal gland. It's what produces/regulates your hormones, mainly cortisol.
What times at work are you falling asleep? Is it only in meetings?

Dishonesty does count regardless of when it happens.
I don't understand why, but the red flags which people LOVE to ignore are the biggest, brightest ones that hit them square in the face. You'll lose your shit and not sleep for days if you find her texting habits to be a little suspicious, but when something blatantly rolls right over you you'll actually ask "durrr what should I do?" Nigger she lied to your face. What do you think you should do?
>however I am bothered by the dishonesty
This sort of behavior demands a dumping on principle.
Come on, you asked her directly and she directly lied to you - even though it would have been totally okay if she'd told you the truth (as you did)
Aren't you too fucking old to put up with this shit? You ought to make it clear (politely) that this is why you're ending it, and then don't talk to the cunt again.
>>16953624
You should. Liars rarely stick to lying about one thing.
Alright /a/, been dating a girl for over a year now. I really love her. But i think we may have different perspectives on what kind of relationship we have.
>meet girl
>we date a lot
>she is rich, but only found that out a few months into relationship.
>she has always been generous with gifts and stuff
>i feel bad, but she always says she enjoys giving people who are important to her stuff
>recently...

If you've been dating for a year, you guys are in a relationship.
If you are uncomfortable about the car, ask about returning it and getting a new car more in your actual affordable range (i.e. one you can meet the upkeep on your own).
Take this as a lesson in the future: be careful about venting to your girlfriend about your material needs.
>>16953618
I mean look, i would be lying if i said i wasnt happy that i got a car out of nowhere, but i guess maybe i feel a little uncontributing to the relationship? Idk. Is she gonna do this kind of thing every time i vent ti her?
>>16953631
have an honest talk. open with how grateful you are and see where it goes. is she older than you? by how much?
i knew a guy in a similar position. he was dating this hot 10/10 didnt have to work cuz daddy was rich as fuck, she paid for EVEERYTHING for him, literally everything, his apartment etc.
Studied UI/UX design (bachelor) and currently doing a related master at university. Also have some work experience. About every week I get a email with a company in the near offering me a job because they saw my work (portfolio). Basically this opens lots of doors in all kind of directions. Now the question is what kind of companies are the best to work at? I always thought that I want to work at a very big company because usually payment is higher and not too stressful. But is it really the right way to go? What about startups? Or should this be enough confirmation for myself...

>but is it really the right way to go?
define 'go'. as far as startups are you going to get the freedom you want? sure with your own start up you would, but do you have any ideas for a start up?
when in doubt, take a job. you get offers regularly so if it isnt doing you any good, switch jobs. save up some money so that when you DO have an idea you can hit the ground running with lots of money saved up.
>>16953611
thanks for the advice anon. Gonna keep that in mind
Pic related--Am I fucked?
>>16953594
define 'fucked'
also tell us what your major is / intended career path is
I don't understand the problem, since your search turned up some colleges. You're actually getting an education and thinking about your future. How are you fucked?
I plan to get a bachelor's in IT but I also want a school with a decent number of practice rooms for my music performance minor.
I have OCD, and it's destroying me, since i have both obssessive thoughts and compulsions.
Compulsions are easy ot stop, obssessive thoughts aren't. Everyday i lose most of the day ruminating such thoughts to the point of extreme fatigue and stress. All of them are situations where shit happens and i can't do anything, and it's leaking into real life, since it's hard to hide such amount of paranoia at once. Most of my thinking day gets OCD-thoughts leaked on it. I'm thinking all the time. I have mechanisms i've developed, i've read about it A LOT, and i've came into a dilemma;
1. My psychiatrist prescribed me pills that have a history of either helping a lot agaisnt the problem, doing absolutely nothing, or helping in to some extend but still retaining it's disadvantages. Should i take it, or keep trying alternative methods such as more trying to overcome fears and mechanisms?
Everyday seems like a struggle. I can fight OCD because i've been fighting it forever. The problem remains in the fact that it's a constant struggle that doesn't seem to end any time. I haven't tried taking medicine yet, because i'm afraid i won't be able to stop it anymore without the symptoms simply coming back, or if they have permanent effects on me.
So, tl;dl:
Take medicine to treat seemingly unbeatable-although-fightable strong OCD or keep alternative methods like developing other mechanisms (taking any tips OCD anons have)?
>>16953558
ask your doc
>>16953558
I have no good advice for you, but if I would choose i'd go with the medicine. If it could relieve you from pain, it could provide room for you to make a clearer path forwards, and help you help yourself in a longer run.
Is your OCD connected to things(like switching things on and off), or is it more about your cognitive thinking in general?
>>16953558
Medication helps adjust your brain chemistry to better work with other coping mechanisms, such as desensitizing your through exposure.
I have 3 balls in my scrotum.
They have been there for as long as I can remember.
Two of them are regular-sized and the third is half-sized.
Is it cancer??
>>16953548
Post pic.
I have a spermatozoic cyst which I thought was cancer, it feels like a smaller little ball in there.
Now, in my case that's benign, but it is VERY possible that in your case it's a tumor. You need to see a urologist asap.
could be your undeveloped twin brother.
Does gay girls like dildos and does gay guys like fleshlights?
Or do they generally avoid those "hetro toys"?
>>16953547
Am gay, use fleshlight. Don't see the big deal, at the end of the day it's just a hole for my dick.
