I think I'm a very selfish, and self-absorbed person.
How can I change this?
Why would you want to?
You need to change your way of thinking. Whenever you think something selfish try to do its selfless counterpart instead. In order to remember to pay attention to your behaviour bring with yourself that remind you to be aware at all times like a bracelet or a ring.
Keep doing it and sooner or later you will start making selfless choices automatically

Make up a fake office location, say it was at the address of a friend's house if you must include an address. Say that you worked general office duties, took calls, did something that only requires them to call your friend at most. Something believable. Say you repaired cell phones or made vape juice or was just an office slave/assistant to someone self-employed.
Depends on the gig you're applying for as to how deep you're gonna have to go to hide your history.
At my small store, for the most part, I won't even check past history. I'll call the most recent one back, but other than that whatever.
Need money but normal jobs never work out because I don't fit in. I don't like to gossip, I don't like small talk. I feel like 90% of people I talk to are fucking clueless. I come off as arogant but am actually really nice I'm just confident in my abilities. People always misunderstand me like I'm being an was not in just being straight forward. And on a daily basis on and off throughout the day I can't help but to hate on myself and literally call my self a piece of shit human. So guys what should I do?

The thing is I love criticism because it's helped me reflect on my "Social Mask" and better my attitude towards either more advanced beings to the patience needed for the simpilar folk. 3rd shifts I'm so over that shit. That's what I'm saying man; what's with these set standards that I have to work a 9-5 job. Its such bullshit and I was totally meant for much more than this. Its just how I feel.
This is coming from a discussion on another board, but I want to ask about "drunk" driving, and what people honestly think is acceptable or not. I know that there is a legal limit, but if someone gets a DUI just over that limit, do you automatically think they're a terrible person?
I feel like treating someone who has a couple of drinks with dinner and blows a .09 like they're complete scum is an exaggeration - it seems like there's no defining line between that and someone who downs a bottle of whiskey and drives down the wrong side of the road.
Anecdotally, my mom is a little nuts, but my dad had three glasses of wine at dinner the other night, and was going to drive home (less than a mile away). She threw herself onto his hood and started screaming that he was a drunk driver and that they needed a cab. Major exaggeration.
Why are people so butthurt about this but seem to be more willing to overlook other crimes?
Also, I'm not trying to say drunk driving is good here, just trying to understand why it's SO demonized.

It was actually the turnpike, a bottle of whiskey, a few roxi 30s, and a couple Xanny bars.
Only person I hurt was myself, to be fair.
Only real charges I have ever faced, and I am older, among other things. 19 charges became 3, and only resulted in fines, probation, and a suspended license.
Everyone has been cool, as no priors, and I only hurt myself.

Having a few drinks under the limit is fine; but here in Canada even having an unopened beer in reach of the driver is illegal. Sometimes things are a little goofy; but general consensus and law are there to protect others from making stupid decisions because they think they're more tolerant (or invincible) than others.
Is it possible to stop being self destructive or am I fucked for life?? I cheat on my diet, beat myself, dress like shit and don't cut my hair, and refuse to talk to women. Is there any way to make myself want to act normal and not like an attention whore?
I do all these things and I'm still fine. I think you are too.
As long as you know your downfalls, you're not ignorant of them and you're working on them (hence you know how to dress, that you should diet, ect)

I'm a manager of a small store, and I'm taking my first vacation ever in my life of 7 years working.
I'm so nervous for my store, I don't have the best staff in the world, but I'll be gone from one weekend, through the next and I'm just worried about evereything that can go wrong while I'm out of the store.
