Is it ok to not say "I love you" to your partner?
I've been in a relationship for a year and a half.
We've said it before, but not so much over the last 6 months.
I wouldn't say it's a sign of the relationship breaking apart.
But I only ever say it if I feel I need reassurance, and when it's said back to me it feels forced and constructed. I doubt my own sincerity also.
Is it normal to avoid the phrase altogether?

How does one deal with a controlling mother? She literally forces me of my computer at 10 and when I said I'm going to watch game of thrones she had a hissy fit and made me go to my room. You can't do much if someone doesn't loves himself.
You can give them confidence but that's only temporary as their regular thoughts WILL come back.
You can help them reach that destination but no matter what it depends on them to actually fix their issues, which is sadly why a lot of times these people can't be on a relationship.
They can't truly love someone if they're stuck and they can't learn to appreciate themselves no matter what they're gonna think...

I've done that, however she just won't give me a direct answer.

18M here with a strange problem. For my whole senior year ive had literally 0 libido. I used to have a raging libido but i believe it had been slowing down over time and now its just hit 0.
