Statistically, yes. It's pretty much undeniable.
It can, but there's no guarantee. The reason they say that is because men are judged on more than just looks. Usually by the 30s guys are done with school and established in a career. While I'm at school I will be getting zero funding from family and will be amassing huge amounts of debt. My goal is to move to the US and it seems like there is no way to get there without having a degree and getting an employer to sponsor you which is difficult in of itself. Obviously as a recent graduate with no experience that would not happen.
Your only option to moving to America if you don't have family there is a greencard marriage.

Me and my girlfriend have been together for 6 years since we were 14.
