I've always called girls a day or two after I get their number and I've never really had problems with it until a few people in my friend circle, both guys and girls said it's really forward and desperate to call and you should text instead. I mean I have been rejected over phone a few times which is no big deal but it gets me thinking if I would of had a chance had I texted. I was always under the impression that calling is more confident and sexy as opposed to being a generic texter but I'm 21 and I guess this generation would maybe prefer texting?
I got a girls number yesterday and now I'm wondering wether I should call or text her?

If the "grass always looks greener on the other side", does that imply that there's no such thing as an objectively worse or better decision/situation? I'm talking when it comes to life decisions like "oh I wish I lived in a nicer part of the country vs. where I am now" or "I wish I was that guy he's so much more successful than me etc."
I'm in entering my mid 20s and adulthood (like real adulthood, getting a real job, making payments, seeing friends get married and relatives did, etc.) and I'm trying to get a handle on my expectations for life in general at this point.

Its one week until the exams for university, and I'm in a dilemma
I'm currently doing one STEM subject, maths and two others, computing and classics
I feel that even if I get A-A* in all of them, most universities will decline me and I'll end up going to some mid-tier one in North England.
Will this happen? Am I right to be concerned? Should I take up physics as a fourth a-level?

Most 4channers don't know the British system and therefore won't understand your question. It seems to me that you're showing a nice breadth in your three choices, and strong marks in all three should establish you as a top candidate. Trying to cram a 4th subject in now will only risk the overall performance.

I have no idea, but he was obviously interested and made no excuses about it. I left pretty rapidly after the conversation became theirs. I was drunk and probably not thinking very clearly, so yes, I gave up too quickly. My friend was much more energetic and forceful about the conversation, so I knew that it'd be very hard for me to dive back in again. I was progressing slowly with the girl to begin with.
I found a newborn, blind kitten on the 22 of April, and since then I've been taking care of it.
I've been nursing it, feeding it, keeping it warm, playing with it since it's first days here until today. It had no one but me.
It started to walk, play, eat on it's own, it grew fond of me - always went whereever I went around the house, it even started to sleep on my clothes and in my bed.
The problem is that it didn't want to use it's litter box, even though I trained it, and it made a mess around the house, which I always had to clean.
This morning it pooped behind the couch, I said that I've had enough, I kicked it a few times, then took it and placed it in a nearby yard where there are lots of cats. It's been more than a month now, should be OK outside on it's own, I figured. Besides, the people around here always feed street cats.
I went to check on it after 30 or 40 minutes, it hadn't moved an inch and was just about to start crying for help. So I took it and brought it back home, despite the beating I gave it earlier.
The kitten was cold, so I started to warm it up with clothes and botteles full of hot water. This went on for a few hours.
It tried to walk but couldn't, had trouble breathing and couldn't keep his head up. I examined it, but there were no broken bones or any trauma that I could find.
I took the kitten in my arms, it was suffering, couldn't move much, struggled to breathe, I started to cry and apologize, then I pinched it's little nose in after a few seconds it stopped breathing. His heart stopped a few minutes after that. I performed CRP, but it died.
So I cried, and apologized, and prayed that, wheever it has gone now, I hope that she finds someone better than me. I burried in in a forest, under a tree.
I have always thought to be a lover of children and animals, and what I did proves to contrary. People like me should be chemically castrated and not allowed anywhere near children or animals.

If this results in any fallout whatsoever, just say you'd noticed the jeans had been out there for quite some time and you needed the line to get your laundry finished.
If they're rational, sane human beings they'll thank you for folding the jeans and that'll be it. If they're weirdos who complain for some reason, gently bring up the fact that you were the one who set up the line and while you don't mind them using it, they should at least be prompt in moving their stuff when it's dry.
