i have anxiety depression and daily suicidal thoughts. I m seen a psychologist but he doesnt seem to help. I literally just go there and breathe. He just wants me to breathe for like the whole time in a certain way. BUt that doesnt help. Wtf when someone has suicidal why you telli him to seek for professional help? They dont help at all. I feel you. My mom is a therapist, mostly for people with eating disorders. She eats (good tasting) food with them all the time, in sessions. Eating disorder is usually result of childhood shittiness, so they talk about those things and try to build mental structure to them as I understand. She works with dietician as well. I think she really does help people.
Life is extraordinarily difficult... I'm really depressed today too. Going to take a swing at it though, somehow. Maybe write another letter to anon, go sit in the trees, earn $10, listen to music, I'll find out.
How do I deal with anxiety before work?
It's my fourth shift at a organic upscale butcher store. It's in a high class area so the customers are all dicks, but I smile through it and kill them with kindness.
I have previous work experience as cashier, so the job isn't that hard, it's just that they have me closing produce by myself. Well, i'm only closing produce the last hour of my shift when the store is closed. It's the process of closing it which gives me anxiety because it's pretty lengthy with lots of specific steps. Like, we have to move certain veg to certain boxes, some get water, some get ice, etc. I try to follow the list but it gets over whelming. Especially since they left me alone last time.
I just don't want to be slow and have to make everyone else stay longer and help :(
If anxiety before work irritates you you have two ways. Either you try to be preoccupied with something else before work so you forget about work. Running in the morning maybe? The trick is of course not to flee from the emotions, but for a short time forget about the thing that triggers them. Or be prepared for what work throws at you, but as you said that takes time to achieve.
I'm a 20 year old NEET who has finally decided to go to college this year. I will be living in college housing, and I will have my own separate room with a toilet, shower, refrigerator and all that.
However, I will be living with other students and will share a kitchen and a study room with them.

Just be nice to people. Say hi when you see them in passing, ask what's up, talk to them if they come to talk to you. Don't hole up in your room. How can I help my bf get through his depression spell?
He told me that he wants to commit suicide when he turns 18 and that we should break up.
I've been trying to be patient and give him space and text him in the morning and at night just to make sure he's okay.

I recently made an online payment to my credit card using funds from my checking account.
However, I noticed that the payment went through twice, reducing my credit card balance by 2x the ammount I originally intended.
