Normally people say "get a life" to people who're doing things that arent productive to the individual's happiness. I don't think getting a "life" is something you just do, because I believe it can be interpreted different ways. From my point of view, getting a "life" means having priorities in check. If you miss out on important or beneficial things because you're playing a game you should probably fix that.

Take it one step at a time. You won't be able to change into a completely new person overnight. You have to change things about yourself step by step, and in time you will reinvent yourself to be the person you want to be. Don't be impatient, don't overwhelm yourself, take it one step at a time. Stop drinking soda, stop eating fast food, take a half hour walk every evening, do little things and start developing healthy habits step by step until they become a natural part of your everyday life.
