I despise virtual keyboards, I want a qwerty one. I looked up so many phones, but there is always something wrong (usually the fact that amazon.com doesn't deliver to UK, and amazon.co.uk is shit with phones).
I wondered if blackberry is still a good option. I like their speed and the fact that they have keyboards. Problem is - would they run whatsapp, fb messenger and slack? (Slack not essential)
Also I heard they have a different kind of network, so would it be a hassle, or not? (Got a lebara sim card, which provides internet to my xperia phone right now)
So, blackberry users and phone experts, HELP!

Hi /adv. I'd like to get your input on whether I should attend a: (1) somewhat prestigious yet difficult university, or (2) a much less prestigious yet easier university. I'm deciding between UC San Diego or San Diego State. I'm majoring in economics. My gpa is 3.2 and I'm transferring from a community college (I've been accepted by both schools). I'm a non-traditional student (I'm 30, use to be in the Navy). At the harder school I'll get more rigorous academic preparation, possibly network better, and the associated "prestige" of this better school. However, I'm affraid of the difficulty, and wouldn't want my gpa to drop (for grad school), or risk failure. If I choose the easier school, it would be easier: less rigorous academics, much less prestige, but a guaranteed easy time (and, thus, higher gpa for grad school purposes). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks /adv

OP here. I got accepted to both (I couldn't believe UCSD to be honest) and submitted my intent to enroll/register to both. I have to cancel/rescind one of them. Also, I have a 3.2 because I went to college before I enlisted and did pretty bad (wasted my time); but once I got out of the military, I applied myself and got a 4.0 at the college I'm transferring (which brought my gpa up, thankfully). Thanks for the anon.
UCSD. With a 4.0 you have your shit together to succeed at a good university

my friends host a party in which a bunch of various people get together, hang out, play board games, play video games, do karaoke, that whole shebang. Well everyone is super chill and super nice, except one of the guy's got a new girlfriend... she wears all this obvious costume jewelry, always bright pink, bleaches her hair blond, wears a lot of make up, and wears clothes that are revealing and suggestive. This. Who are you to judge her that she's "setting women's rights back"? Is she saying the women don't deserve to vote or that they shouldn't be equal? If not, then from what you've said she's just having fun with her boyfriend.
They sound like confident, fun people, and you honestly sound pretty insecure.
For the record, there is no single type that all men want. But people in general are attracted to confidence and people who like to have a good time. It has very little to do with breasts or clothing size.

Hey, /adv/, I went on a date last night and managed to do pretty well for myself. We both got pretty drunk, kept up good conversation the entire night and things were going pretty well. There was a brief period where she took me to meet her friends, but I managed to hit it off with them as well. Long story short, we were both dead tired by 2 am, and hitched a cab back to our neighborhood. she walked with me to my apartment, and when we said goodnight, she kissed me on the cheek. Being still drunk and horny, I turned her head and started kissing her. We stopped (she went in on it too, I'll add) and when she turned to leave, I went full retard and said "I'm sorry" then told her that I felt obligated to do it. To my surprise, she came right back up to me and we kissed again, before she left and we told each other that we'd talk soon. Well, now it's the next morning and after nursing a massive hangover and cringing over the dumb shit I said, I'm kind of wondering what to do next.
What/when should I text her? I don't want to look like some fuckboy, but I'm not going to be in town for the next month and I want to try to square things away in terms of where we're at and I'm worried that im overthinking my dumb comment.

I love my girlfriend and things are going pretty well but every time I can't text her for more than five minutes and she feels like texting me, she always sends me texts like "Give me attention" or sometimes "GIVE ME SOME FUGFING ATTENTION"
She seems to be doing this at least partially ironically, and I think it's a half joke to her, like she still wants me to give her more attention but she's aware of how stupid that sounds so she hides it by being intentionally extreme about it.
