Our brains are wired to learn language skills when we are kids and this diminishes as we age. That's why it is better to learn other languages from a young age.

I will try to make this short.
I have been with this girl for a very long time and we were absolutely astonishingly perfect for each other. Genuinely astounding. After two months I decided to do what I desire in a relationship, and make her my slave. Make her worship me, I would dominate her in every aspect, always, control, and I would make her love it. Our relationship took on the dynamic aspects of a Master/slave relationship. It was amazing, truly, it was perfect for the both of us, not ever had we been so happy in our lives.
This is hard to explain but I will make this especially short but if unclear i can clarify: after four months or so from the beginning, she started to drop, i did not understand why, and apparently weeks later I come to find out it is because I lied to her a lot, (in her mind she thinks it is, but genuinely it isn't, i won't go there, just trust me) but to an extent i agree with her on it all, and I have changed immensely. The problem now, 5 months after this dropping, more and more shit, piling onto each other, she drops all the time, leaves me almost every day, things get chaotic, she becomes extremely suicidal, depressed, etc.
That is a huge concern but the point of this post is she is no longer willing to be my slave. She does not want me to dominate her anymore, because she lost respect for me, and I understand her and how it is not possible to be a slave to he whom you cannot respect; yet I have changed but no matter how much I show it she remains unwilling.
At that, when I try to dominate, she does not take it, she gets mad, annoyed, bothered, angry, she rages, she goes fucking crazy, its bananas at that point.
What do I do? Seriously how can I somehow make her submit for once and control everything? I need this back because it is the only way to be able to completely be in control and if conscious enough be able to always manage a relationship and all aspects of it.

I'm in the middle of my final exams for A level and the stress is getting too much for me. I find myself unable to sleep at night. The night before my first maths exam, I couldn't fall asleep until 2am, and had to get up promptly at 7.
This is really impacting my performance, so I ask you, how can I sleep better?

I used to take a short walk (around 30 min) before going to bed when I was stressed and couldn't sleep. It helped me calm down and I could sleep a little better. The fact that almost no one except for some cars now and then was out at that time was really therapeutic for me.

The three biggest things:
1) No caffeine 6 hours before bed.
2) No exercise 3 hours before bed (but it's good to get exercise earlier in the day).
3) No screens -specifically, no screens with a built-in backlight ot frontlight- 1 hour before bed. E-ink is OK. Transflective screens (like the old GBA) are OK, but good luck finding them. The problem is blasting your eyes with high-color-temperature light, like the Sun or like most screens that have built-in lighting.
Point 3 can be the hardest. You can try using a color temperature adjuster like f.lux to make things a little better -I'm currently trying that myself- but the benefits of this are still unproven.
I just finished 5 cycles of chemotherapy and in few weeks i'm going to start radiotherapy (26 an with cancer is quite fucked up isn't it?), I'm devastated both mentally and physically. Any suggestion on what to do to recover some energy? Doctor suggested a prevalently vegetarian diet. Anything else? A bit of work out maybe?
Also: is radiotherapy a pain in the ass as well?

i graduated with my degree and it's been about 5 months and i haven't found a job. i applied to dozens of places but i go through phases of utter hopelessness and aimlessness. im still a man child who hasn't held more than a couple of jobs and live at home with my parents.
