Hi /adv/, I don't really think anyone can help me at this point, but if you care, please, please give me some advice. I at least need to tell this to anyone, or write it to organize my ideas.
I'm a boy, age 22. I cannot complain about how the world has treated me, I'm the luckiest guy in the planet. I have a caring, wonderful family with no econimical issues. I could stay at my parent's house until 50's+ no questions asked. My parents think very highly of me, they usually say I'm the son they always dreamt to have. My little sister is lovable, I influenced a lot in her personality. She's the person I love most (as a person, ofc, I don't want her as girlfriend or anything like that)
I have wonderful friends too, they think highly of me (even if it's undeserved) they do great things for me. For example they know I love mind games. For my birthday they prepared me a wonderful gymkana around all the city where I had to solve all kind of puzzles and physical tests to get to the present, it was awesome, and this is just a small example, it has been like this for years and not only in birthdays.
I'm studing engineering, and I'm almost done. I got the bachelor work I wanted, and the best teachers to be my tutors at my bachelor work (not all teachers care about your work, these seem to do at least)
I also got a practice job (I don't know how to say this, it's for college students that are about to finish) at a place I like a lot, related to renewable energies in a very big company. I've always dreamt about this. Not only that, they pay me more than the minimum wage (in my country practice work is hardly ever payed) and they told me that they wanted me to stay (once more, this is very rare) they treat me very well, respectfully, they want to TEACH me, not to have me making coffee. They consider my ideas and sometimes even put them to practice... I'm learning like never before.

Stop dating shitskins
So I'm at uni and don't have much money. The thing is I'm a smoker and it's really hard for me to cut down on it because it helps me to handle problems better and I don't have anything else to replace it with. So I leave my weekly budget in cigs, and occasionally beer with my gf, which leaves me a couple of bucks for food. Usually my budget is gone by tuesday and I'm coming back home at friday.
This week I was three days without food, came home, weighed myself and it said that I lost 4 kilos, then I eat whole weekend like crazy and get the lost pounds back. Then it repeats again next week.
How fucked am I in long shot living like this?
rather than worring about how you spend or waste money on going out to the bar or smoking you'd be better off getting a job so you can afford a week's worth of food every week.

anyone here has some tips for living 2-3 months without much money to spend on food?
i´m currently unemployed, we have social security but after rent, living costs and such i don´t have all too much left to spend - maybe 150-200 to "live"
ramen noodles are okay here and there but having them daily would make me sick i´m sure.
i usually have these asia noodles which i make - they taste amazing and just require water to cook
i don´t care if it´s a monotonous diet for a while as long as it stops the hunger from creeeping in and doesn´t poison my body with chemical shit
i´d also appreciate something which will make the hunger go away for lunchtime and then in the evening i eat something - but i´m not sure if this exists
bad thing also is i really need to cut back on soda and such because that´s pretty heavy on the budget - i drink a coke (can) a day and sometimes a redbull a day too so if anyone has some tricks to get off the sugar that would be great!

ramen's cheap but it'll make you feel like shit because it has no nutrtional value and tons of salt. it also doesn't fill you up much.
learn how to make beans yourself. they're cheap to buy in bulk and have fiber/carbs/protein. rice is all carbs but cheap as hell and is what most of the world's population eats to keep from starving. apples/bananas are cheap and will curb your sugar cravings. for cheap meat you can buy whole rotisserie chickens from most grocery stores for less than 8 bucks. if you shred them by hand you can use the meat for 3-4 days. for greens spinach is the cheapest for the nutritional density. sautee it in olive oil and put some lemon juice (fresh or bottled) on it to make it taste good. a glass of milk is will kill hunger cravings and keep you asleep at night.
mostly eat rice/beans cooked in large batches so you're not constantly cooking and supplement it with the other stuff so you still feel normal.
avoid fast food because it's engineered to make you want more and more. that's why they get away with selling it cheap.

I swear I've seen guides to cheap food on /ck/, so try posting this there or lurk there for a bit. But from what I remember, just get a big bag of raw rice and raw beans. Super cheap. Supplament it with other shit for vitimins.

Then we go to the originally planned club, and it's still very early, it's almost empty and this other guy at the door asks us if if we want to go to this "VIP table" of his, I suppose because we were entering with 5 girls and he tought he could have a chance with one of them. Now I go back to the main group and while dancing I talk with [A] about my achievement, [B] overhears it and gives me a high five. She doesn't know about my complete and total social akwardness, but [A] knows how much of a deal that is to me.

But I've now got 2 months and 5 days until I start work. Unfortunately (for me) all my home friends have been employed for years and work standard 9-5, Mon-Fri. We might do something once during the week and thankfully the weekend is usually busy with something (summer is coming and we live near the beach). We have a one week holiday away but that still leaves just under 2 months
What the hell do I do with the rest of my time?? The gym only takes 4-5 hours a week

To put it straight I don't have any problems with sweating, even on the most hottest days I don't sweat that much. But I started to notice that when I sleep at home, it's like someone pours a bucket of water at me over night.
It wasn't common and it started happening when I got used to living at dorm. Everything's normal at my dorm, I sleep and wake up normally but at home...just tonight, I always keep my window open because I like a little chill air when I sleep and I woke up like at 3am from the weirdest shit that I have ever dreamt of. The bed was soaking wet, pillow, featherbed, mattress. I went to take a piss and had to put a hoodie over the mattress so I wouldn't sleep in a fucking pool.
It's not too hot in the room, it didn't happen before, it doesn't happen at the dorm...what the fuck is it?

Why does Walmart have a generally bad reputation? Most reviews I see generally shit on Walmart. It's why I was terrified to work there after I had gotten laid off, after all I heard about walmart. But it's honestly not bad. I work 40 hours a week and everyone prettymuch loves me. Nothing bad here at all. Lots of employee teamwork. Where do the bad reviews come from, and why?

It's not the employees. It's the customers. Most Walmarts attract garbage people. Garbage people tend to be stupid and not know how to shop without getting angry. Every step of theshopping experience they have to involve an associate and act like they're valuable people who deserve personal service. Those people are actual proles and vent on yelp when minimum wage workers can't serve them like actual slaves.
Online reviews and abusing sales associates is an outlet for their own frustrations. They're poor and stupid and life's been rigged against them ever becoming smart/financially stable so they lash out online. Also other people who aren't this way enter this toxic environment and feel uncomfortable around the shitbag customers and harried employees.

I love when customers can go by me, looking at merchandise, and not even talk to me. As if they're not stupid and they actually know what they want. Those are the best. I still try to ask all customers if they need any help though, especially the ones that look lost.
My department is right next to the photo center so I get a phenomenal amount of customers asking to pick up their photos. Because I had to, I requested to be trained in photo stuff too. The real
photo/electronics associates are all over the place, so that's why customers always come to me

Would you be taken aside by how to the point the compliment was? I was talking to a female friend (Don't have feelings for her) about it, and she said sometimes it can come off as creepy. I never thought of it like that, because I've gotten appearance-related compliments by women before, mainly hair/eyes/article of clothing, and have been flattered but never thought twice about it being "weird" or anything.

For me, it would be creepy depending on how it's said and the context. If you come up to me and randomly blurt out a compliment while I'm clearly studying or working, I would find it creepy or just annoying.
Though this is all subjective and depends on the individual, of course.
What the title says. I'm tired of being teased by my friends and other people. It looks like people don't respect me. In my group of friends they always make fun of me, they call me names and that kind of shit. I'm the only one that suffers this, and it's been like this since I have memory. I have to look very carefully about what I say because it might make my friends mock me.
One day I was at the casino with my friends, and I was standing behind the one playing, and he lost. Then he started to say I gave him bad luck and now everyone believes I give bad luck. Also other time I was talking about how ugly some dude, and then one of my friends says I'm ugly and stupid so I shouldn't make fun of anyone else(the guy who said this himself is a fat ugly piece of shit, and also a virgin). There was a time my friends called me gay because I said some of my other male friends were attractive.
Obviously, it's always friendly teasing. But I still get pissed from time to time. It looks as if they think they can say whatever they want to me and get away with it. I guess it's got something to do with myself though. Maybe it's because I'm a small guy. They say it's because the way I act and because I treat others the same way. But I don't recall myself being rude against others(or not so much at least). I guess they just can't subconsciously tolerate myself(a very small, childish looking guy) acting so confident. I'm not cocky, yet I come as cocky and arrogant. But I'd rather not fight against my friends, I'm too old for that now. I sometimes think my friends are just not mature enough, but they have been my friends since forever and I can't leave them.
It looks like people really judge you by your looks, no matter what you do. They'll always try to fuck with the smallest, physically weakest person, even subconsciously. It makes me mad, I wish I was bigger, had a deeper and louder voice, so they would respect me. Fuck this life.
