I am not an engineer, so you may have thought of these things already. but I will say them anyway, just in case.
the pitch video is pretty good, and the concept has a lot going for it. I am a bit worried about the units structurally though. maybe you should offer bracers to give support to the larger configurations.
will the boards have holes for hardware to be inserted? in the one part of the video, it looked like someone was installing holes. if it is snap-together, that the metal bars may not be enough to hold the boards together when weight is placed on them or something is leaned against the unit.
I like the idea of using boards instead of particle board. but I will say this: although the lumber industry makes standard sizes of boards, they sometimes use loose tolerances compared to most manufacturing. the difference is not as noticeable if building a house, but when assembling small things like furniture, a few mm or cm can stack up quickly. if the board is supposed to fit snug into the channel, you may have problems with fit. and even a small amount of warping can throw everything off. if you haven't already accounted for this in your design, you should do so. carpenters deal with it by measuring a lot and planing or adding shims where needed. your end users will not be carpenters. so you will have to find a different answer.
again, I am not an engineer, so some of this may already be obvious to you.
overall, it is an exciting idea, and I think you should continue developing it. I really like the idea of it, and I hope you can make it into something successful. good luck OP!

Just recently my son came out to me. I had been worried for awhile. His teachers said most of his grades were slipping and he seemed depressed and withdrawn. Corey said he'd been hiding it for awhile because he was afraid I would reject him. I sat him down and told him that I loved him and that God loved him, but that his salvation was in danger if he did not resist his unnatural temptations. I told him how being gay would mean he would live a shorter life, and that if he couldn't change his orientation he could be celibate like most the ex-gays are. He started crying saying something along the lines of "I knew you wouldn't understand! You're just like everyone else!" before running to his room and slamming the door. What did I do wrong? I don't want to lose my son, but I fear I already have. I talked it over with his therapist, who had the ludicrous idea that homosexuality was unchangeable and that trying to repress could lead to lots of psychological damage (I've dropped him and will try to be finding another therapist with more moral beliefs). I wouldn't be surprised if he's the one who's feeding my son all the homosexual propaganda about how its "OK" to be gay. That, or how homosexuality has engulfed the media, making it seem 'cool' and 'hip' and how they were just another oppressed minority. You didn't have to worry about seeing two men makingout ontv at my age! I don't want to sound like a fanatic, but I'm worried what other effects will come out of this increasingly secular, immoral society obsessed with filth. Am I too late? Or is it possible to save my son?

I live in a working class area in england. Most of the people here dont work, they live on the dole (benefit paid by the state to the unemployed.) and make extra money selling random shit. the people i speak of typically get labeled as chavs. due to interacting with people on the internet and reading books, i was able to release my self from the culture of my environment. My whole highschool life was fucked up because the people in my class would do nothing but mess about and distract me. I feel like i didnt learn anything from about 11-16
I feel somewhat angry at my parents for bringing me up in this environment, they must of been aware at how it would effect my upbringing. I have become somewhat socially retarded because i dont know how to interact with normal people, if i go on trips to anywhere else, its feels odd when random people talk to me and i dont know how to react. what should i do? dont have the money to move as im a student. living in this environment is depressing.

I was brought up in the midlands, my school was catchment for council estates and had the same educational experience as you did probably - the majority of the class is spent telling people to shut up than learning.
I got AAB at A levels off my own arse by studying the syllabus and being somewhat smart to start off with (I'm not super smart just enough that I don't need help with reading or writing). I graduated with a 2.1 from a redbrick university. (moved cities for this).
My parents felt immense guilt sending me to a shit school. They tried to send me somewhere better but I was denied due to the catchment area. We couldn't afford private education so I did the best I could in a shit situation. You can't blame your parents, I'm sure they would have moved you if they knew how to or could afford to. Don't lean on others for explanations or answers, when you come from shit like we do you gotta pull it our your own arse and do the best you can do.
Chavs are good at one thing: solidarity. I hate chavs for their shitty attitude and low standards but you gotta admit they do stick up for each other and are there for each other. Learn that from them - how to be a proper mate and proper family values.
You sound like you're embarrassed of your upbringing. I know that shame but it is just your shame. If someone is being a snob then understand they they don't know any better. We're unlucky mugs you and me, we don't and never will gave daddies money to dig us out of a hole and it sucks. You're young enough to start again. The good thing is there's loads of bursaries out there for us poor kids. Search for them and apply for them. As a student there's loads of subsidised clubs for things you never would have been able to do before. When talking to new people don't talk about home and your past just talk about what you're into and what you want to do. If anyone asks just say 'it's boring, what about your past?'

i wouldent really say im embarrassed of my upbringing, more annoyed that i had less opportunities than other people, and meaningless shit was advocated to me. i understand with my parents, they probably didnt have much of a choice, and didnt take into consideration how much it would impact me, i think they are the only reason i didnt become a "scally" - its just, at the back of my mind, i partially blame them, though, i probably shouldent.
I done terrible at highschool due to influence of people, and yeah the majority of my class was the same as yours. I became secluded and didnt do much but play video games to escape from it all. at about 18, i got into working out and reading and i have been trying to turn my life around. im still finding it a bit of a struggle, people in my university still dont care about getting good grades, all they do care about is drinking, at least they are not telling me to shut up and shit like that though.
Chavs definitely are good at solidarity. i was kind of a chav when i was highschool but it was only really to fit in because anyone that didnt follow their culture was bullied. a few of my acquaintances are chavs. One positive thing i will say about chavs is that they are not plastic, they are normally straightforward, loyal, and true with what they say. i probably prefer chavs to edgy people like metal heads. my problems with chavs is that i cant have a conversation with them, and they are incredibly uneducated about basically everything. they often think they are intimidating for example but very rarely know anything about fighting.
Its not even lack of more that i talking about in regards to less opportunities, its not be able to talk and interact with decent people who i can learn from, and who will influence me to improve myself. over all, i should be ok. i just want to vent because its all really annoying me.

I want to start learning to play the keyboard but i have no idea where to start? Ive wanted to play for aslong as i can remember but never made the time, well thats changed now, is there any starter kits or decent keyboards that anyone could recommend?

Make sure you get a full-sized, 88 key keyboard. Not absolutely necessary but try to get one with hammer touch if possible. It will feel closer to a real piano. Yamaha's have a nice grand piano sound imo. Look for one on craigslist and kijiji. People constantly buy pianos and never end up using them.

My girlfriend spends all of her money on stuff she doesn't need (figures, collectionables, ..) and then complains on how she's broke.
While I think it's a waste of money, it does help her deal with her anxiety I guess. But it's getting a bit out of hand. Her bedroom is borderline a hoarder's bedroom and she can't stop buying shit.
I tried to tell her once she should save up, which she does, but all of the money that doesn't go into savings is spent on shit she doesn't need.

You're both just growing up and growing apart. It happens to everyone. You're frustrated because you feel like you're putting in more energy to the relationship than she is. You may find if you stick at it eventually the friendship will get back to being close again. Alternatively it could just keep drifting apart, people change as they get older and sometimes relationships fail too because of that. Put yourself in her shoes - she's in a new country with new friends and loads of new things to do. She's obviously excited and loving it. Nothing has changed for you really and you're still talking about the same old things. I suggest you go and visit her so you can experience some of things she does.

Generally I try to go for the Duke immediately, but I don't block Foreign Aid or even take taxes. I let things through for a round or two, taking Income, and only then start doing Duke-y things. This always baits someone into calling on me -it never fails, seriously, even with people who've seen me do this dozens of times- and that takes out a few of their cards.
Then, if I can get my hands on a Captain, I start stealing. Same strategy as before: make people think I don't have it. It helps that I have less than no poker face, so I can always look like I'm lying even when I'm not.
And then, when I have seven coins, I coup. Simple as that.

After only about a month of smoking, I'm quitting smoking cigarettes today. The reason being that the brand I preferred most, a clove cigarette, started tasting bad to me (and I found the reason why, I can no longer taste cloves for some reason). I have been seeing this girl for the past 6 months but she has a boyfriend. Her boyfriend is away most of the time working abroad and she's staying with me most of the time.
