I do literally no work at work.
I got a job a few weeks ago in a big city straight out of college. I make 70k starting plus bonus plus tons of benefits. And I have not done ANY WORK since my first day.

Hey /adv/ I need some career advice.
I graduated with a BA in Math and got a job at a hospital lab because of my cousin. Make decent money since I still live with parents, 32k a year, more with OT.
I was talking with one of the CRNA's who told me to go into nursing and become a CRNA. He said he graduated and got offered a job at 175k a year and just left for a position at a oral surgeon office for 220k a year.
I like the medical field, but there's so much different positions in it. I like helping people too.
Another option I was told about is biostatistian, there is a paid masters at my school that offers it seems pretty cool.
There's always MD too.
Shit I don't really know how to choose what to do. I don't mind being in school long.

I can't speak for everywhere, but in the East Texas it's hard as hell for a male to get hired in the nursing field.
Almost all women- and even quite a few men- flat out refuse care from a male caregiver. Employers have a lot less hassle if they just stick to females.
Also, if you're white, forget it. Most nurses are black and they'll form cliques against you. It's the one field where blacks have the numbers, and believe me, they're going to take out every percieved injustice they've ever experienced on YOU.

no. the program has nothing to do with the OS or the rest of the computer.
I mean, the crashes happen because firefox uses too much memory, and that could also kill other programs, but this shouldn't be a problem in most cases, unless you are writing big files to the disk or something.

I need help guys. Today my gf went to a theme park with her friends, and randomly stopped texting me around noon. By 2pm still hadn't heard anything, which is really unusual for her to not reply for so long. I figured she lost her phone, which she is prone to doing. Hey /adv/, I realize this is a common problem but I'm at my wit's end.
Three months ago my then girlfriend called me to say she felt the relationship stopped working and quickly after that she sent her family to pick up her stuff.
The breakup wasn't resentful, just deeply sad, neither of us wronged the other.
But now, three months later, I cannot let her go as I should. I feel like I still can't flirt and I still miss my ex immensely, and often have dream where we're still together.
