What's the easiest degree I could get?
Basically I need a degree to be considered for a promotion. Any degree, all that matters is I have a degree.
I was thinking of political science, or English lit because those are two subjects which interest me.

I understand what you mean. I am in a similar situation although not QUITE as bad as you.
The way I look at MY situation personally is:
It comes down to this, some of the most successful people in the world came from having absolutely fucking nothing. And part of the reason they are successful is because they had nothing, and so their desire to have everything was far greater than people who already had something.
One of my greatest inspirations was driving a shitty banged up car he had to push start every morning to get to work. Now he's a champion, earning millions with a whole fleet of cars.
My advice to you?
Don't worry about other people. Stop chasing girls and don't worry about inviting them back to your place.
Get a job, save some money put it towards a car, get a better job work your way up work hard don't give up and eventually, it WILL pay off. You will be able to get your own place and the girls will come on their own.
It's never too late to change your stars.

We have known each others for 2,5 years and we been dating ten months. Eventually things escalated quickly, and I personally knew that he was the right one for me from the day 1. I chased him for a looong time, and eventually I got my prince.
He is 32, I'm 22. We moved in some 6 months ago and it's working out just great. Now I had this idea, that damn I wanna propose that man. But I'm afraid what he says. So my girlfriend of two years left me, saying we need to take a break so she can find herself. With every conversation I either hear that we both need work or it's essentially exclusively me. On top of this, we have each other on Pinterest and she posts these feminist "Work on yourself, you're number one" attitude pins KNOWING that I'll see them. What do I do when I fail a course because an instructor didn't do their job and update my grades?
I was riding just under what is required for a C because I missed an essay. I asked if I could turn it in late and was given permission. All of our work is submitted online to scan for plagiarism and I'm able to see every grade I have received. I had a 0 from not turning it in, but once I submitted the work it says that it requires grading and hasn't changed since. It has been this way since I have submitted it around a week ago and now I have received my grades for everything I've taken this semester and was not given any credit for the essay making my grade a D. I don't know if it's even possible to have the grade changed at this point. I'll have to retake the class.
Is there anything I can do about this? I was thinking of sending the instructor an email, but I don't want to be too confrontational. What should I say?
This is a problem you need to solve by going to the instructor and explaining your agreement and present situation in person.

You should have talked to (or at least contacted) your professor on the day of your final exam. Your grade is usually locked in within a couple days at that point. Not having seen the mark for your essay posted by then would have been a big concern.
You need to ask whether your grade reflects your essay because you hadn't seen the credit for it posted by the time that your final grade was calculated. If there was an error, you then need to ask both the professor and the dean of students if there's time yet for the amended grade to be put into the system. If there isn't, you need to keep contacting the dean about ways to resolve the issue other than retaking the class.

So,my girlfriend and I have been together for almost a year. When we met, she was a smoker but after things got more serious she promised to quit because I do not tolerate smoking. Problem is, sometimes she still does. Recently I have noticed that when she comes from school, she smells like cigarettes. Depends on what caused the insecurity. If the women left him, men usually take these things personally. Give him confidence, and don't remind him of his faliures. Be discrete and don't hurt him in a spot where he is sensitive. If he's going through a divorce now, it is still fresh memories for him, with time it will get better.
From what you wrote I think you are successful, confident, and have your life sort of together, while he definately feels that he is lesser than you because he made a lot of mistakes in his past.
