If you're going to college, apply for scholarships. This is literally free money for you, and if you do the math, the time spent working on this is basically you getting paid $200/hour for each one you earn.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with going to a cheap community college instead of an expensive private school. Employers don't give a single fuck about what school you went to, just that you have a degree in the field you're applying for.
