As far as his health goes, its really not that bad. Unless he's doing it excessively like every day. It can become a mental addiction. Some people forget how to cope with things and become dependent on it. But that's fairly rare.

I score far above average on IQ tests compared to my peers, yet I feel dumber than most people because of how many stupid things I do and how many mistakes I make by just having my mind in other places.
Am I missing something or i just everyone not as smart as I might think sometimes?
Or is intelligence something that also fluctulates alot?
Some opinions on this would be appriciated, because I know we all think that were smarter than average, while we obviously cant be, which is of course our flawed perception and fallacies but I had some form of proof, multiple tests.
IQ is a poor measure of intelligence, it really only tests one limited subset of it.

you have to remember that common sense, human interaction, and many other things arent IQ worthy.
if you sit there and study history every day, you are going to know a lot about history. but if you've never been to a bank, you're not going to know how an interest rate works or how to write a check or what have you.

I just got done sabotaging my life. I canceled three job interviews I had this week (to be fair, one of them was for a position I did not even apply for and I was grossly underqualified anyway), and turned down the one job offer I got.
This is because I am having a particularly bad depressive episode today, and now I despise myself even more. I already go to college, and the thought of adding a job on top of that filled me with so much dread and anger I felt trapped. Ok. This guy has recently contacted me that someone is doxxing him. He has gone onto this social media site (it's not 4chan, but plebbit) and he has seen in the subreddit for his city that someone has taken his name and is pretending to be him. They have been making posts bringing up facts about him such as false rape allegations and whatnot. He's really scared and it is a pretty worrisome thing, don't you think? You should move on. If her disorder prevents her from staying in a relationship, you shouldn't suffer from it. There are plenty of people with BPD who can be in a stable, long term relationship. However, it doesn't seem as though she's one of these people.
