I'm german high school student about to graduate. Should I study engineering or physics? I think I'd rather do the latter, but I'm worried about my future. How are the job prospects?

Any europeans here?

jup, austrian here. I think engineering has more job offers. It depends on what you want to do later and what you are interested in

Germany is overrun with graduate engineers and physicists looking for work. Get into a field with serious job demand, like carpentry.

and engineers get paid better if you make difficult things like hearing aid devices. I know someone....

That's the problem, I don't exactly know what to do with my life (and I'd imagine most people my age have that problem).

I really don't want to do something like carpentry, I'm not good at stuff like that at all. Would probably emigrate if worst comes to worst.

Another question: can I do an engineering master after a physics bachelor or vice versa?

I hear there's lots of space in Syria right now.

sorry I am 19 myself and have no idea what you can do with physics, as I want to study chemistry. You should call your future uni and ask or have a look if google helps
