So my girlfriend has recently started becoming involved in politics, and has really become a fan of Donald Trump. She says that too much Mexican immigration is ruining the country and that we need a wall to keep the "dirty wetbacks" out. The catch is, I'm actually of Mexican heritage (I'm a chicano), but don't look like it as I am more white. She also doesn't know because we've never discussed our ethni c makeup.
What should I do? I feel somewhat offended but I've been dating this girl for six months.

So I have a female friend who's gone through a lot of stuff. Something like 3 months ago her grandmother died, and she basically spent the night at my place and I tried to comfort her while she kept crying. Throw in a bunch of inheritance drama on top of that.

There's not really a good answer for this, because people react in different ways. You could try asking her how she's doing the next time you see her cracking. She might say she doesn't want to talk about it, or she might appreciate you showing you care. If she's a very good friend, you could make her a care package (with tea and relaxing things), but she might get the impression you like her.
