I wanted to plead guilty at the arraignment but the judge said it has a max of 2 years. Now I have to spend thousands on a lawyer only to have to pay fines anway.
Is it worth it to pay a lawer for this shit? I have no criminal record

Okay fellas. Went on lunch date with cutie last week and it went very well. At the end we said we should hang out again this week. I told her to let me know later when is a good time. So she texts me days later for something unrelated and brings up the plans to confirm. She tells me to let her know when I have time.
So I put the call in her court and she put it back on mine. I can't tripple dip so now I have to make up the time.

So there's this fuckboy/drug dealer around town who has apparently fucked with a lot of people's shit including my own. Part of me wants to see him down on his knees crying like a little bitch. (and I'm not the only one). But another part of me feels for him because there is a tiny glimmer of good in him. I try to be a Christian but this dude is testing me. I feel like I am the only one who can save his sorry ass.
Is this even possible? If so, how could I do this? Anyone else know of a situation like this? What happened? Or should I just let things lie and let him destroy himself?

I'm constantly struggling. Should I have more trash cans around, or what? I need some house keeping general tips for a tidy home, within a week after cleaning, my house is right back to a pigsty.
1. do a little bit every day
2. don't throw shit on the floor, always put your clothes in the hamper, garbage in the trash can, dishes in the sink, etc
3. get rid of all the extraneous clutter shit you have; goodwill or garage sale, or throw it in a box and stuff it in a closet somewhere. The less junk you have laying around, the easier it is to clean.
4. do a little bit every day, faggot
it's not THAT hard to do
Generate less trash, get rid of stuff that makes an unusual amount of clutter and make dedicated spaces for putting things when they leave your hands. All of this is designed to make it easy for you. You have to realistically weigh a dirty home against all of these impulsive conveniences you currently practice.
Get one of these if you don't have it, put all your dirty clothes in it.
One trash can / bag is enough. In the kitchen, below the sink. Put all your trash there. Go several times a day through your home, pick trash that you see laying around and put it in the trash bag. As soon as trash bag is full, take it out and replace it with an empty one.
Also vacuum once / week.
/adv/, I've forgotten how to do life.
It's 6PM and I haven't gotten out of bed yet, I haven't seen unfiltered daylight in two months. I've lost all creative ability I used to have, I get no enjoyment out of anything active anymore.
My days consist of laying in bed, getting out an hour before the supermarket closes, getting myself a bunch of beer and very little food.
Then I make it home, plop down on the couch and drink and smoke weed until I pass out, upon coming to, I drag myself back into bed.
Even the 5 minute walk to the supermarket takes a lot of mental preparation, I'm very afraid/apprehensive to go outside, I always go after dark.
My family doesn't know, my friends don't know, even my girlfriend (who moved out of my house four months ago, because she couldn't be near my depression all the time) doesn't know how bad it's gotten.
Does it get better? Or will my life just continue to dwindle down until I've lost all fire?
TL;DR- worsening depression, life without guidance.

are college certificates worth much? i ask because i'm trying to finish an AAS and found that i can squeeze in a certificate on the side.it's not too much extra work but it still is a bit of time and cash that i rather not spend if i don't need to. but at the same time, more is better right?
oh the cert btw is a quality assurance one. i've completed most of the classes under my main plan but the two that are left are at some inconvenient time slots(late night or other weekdays i'm not at school meaning more driving and expenses).

I'm looking to see if anyone here has gone through this before. I'm in happy relationship of about a year. I enjoy being with my girlfriend and I could see myself marrying her. Our relationship isn't perfect but we get along well and there haven't been any major problems so far. My problem is I sometimes miss my ex girlfriend. Not romantically though. We dated for five years but I havent see her in over a year. I don't miss being together but I do miss our friendship. I wish I could at least text her and see how she is but my girlfriend is very jealous. She would perceive me saying hello to her as a way of attempting to cheat on her. I love my girlfriend but its hard to completely forget about someone you loved for so long. My girlfriend has no clue how I feel because it would hurt her and its not worth ruining the relationship. Has anyone here been in a similar situation?

I'm editing a video for a company (pic related), and they wanted footage of the young boy in the video, who is African american, when he was younger. That footage is either lost or N/A. My boss says to take footage of another black child around the age that is mentioned and use that in place of the first boy.
