These kind of misinterpretable phrases sometimes happen to me. I understand that people may get insulted (especially girls).
It just happens and i don't know why.
I have tried thinking thoroughly before every sentence I speak, but that becomes very very tedious over time. I mostly end up overthinking it and just not saying anything.

Take the Obama method of communication. Get into the habit of talking slower, and with any/every pause you take, think hard about the next few words you want to say out loud.

Why don't people go and talk to course advisers at their school who can give them tailored advice?
I would personally go mech eng and get a masters in the biomed eng area later, but I am biased towards the three big engineerings (mech/chem/electrical) because of their versality and applications throughout the world.

Hello /adv/, I'm looking for a little guidance on an issue just so I can stop debating it in my head. This is a scenario that's happened a couple times in the past week and I'm wondering if it means anything.
So, I'll be just hanging out with a group of people of both genders (I'm a male) and we'll be just holding a conversation like normal people do. And sometimes when someone else is talking I'll just glance around at the other people in the room to see what they're doing (normal, yeah?) and I'll see that one of the girls in the group is like staring at me, and it's not like they're looking through me, they're looking at me. I make eye contact and they keep looking and it makes me uncomfortable so I then look somewhere else.
This has happened multiple times from different girls in entirely different groups of people. What does it mean? I've been told I'm an attractive guy before but I don't really think I warrant mirin.
I figure it's probably all in my head but sometimes you need an outside perspective (preferably from a female).

Yeah, throw in a pencil sketch that's been penned but not cleaned up showing you understand fundamentals and aren't just winging it or relying on software for your final product. Shouldn't be more than 10% of your portfolio.

I should've clarified, when they say "drawing skills", they mean just that. What got me concerned was what ratio of inked work/penciled work/rough sketch work/finer sketch work I should put in.
Handy advice though if I was going for the same course a level r two higher, digital imaging (whilst I've got some) was more of a secondary thing they're looking for.

She was very upset at first, but the intervention turned her life around. Especially if there was physical assault, this needs to be stopped posthaste.
