Odd question for here but,
I have a five year old at home, who's started to dislike me because 'daddy's never home'. And to be fair, I hated my pop until I was old enough to understand why he worked so much.

I feel for you, and I'm so sorry. I don't know what to tell you. I don't think there's really anything you can do. I think a lot of kids come to hate their parent's until they're older and it's too little too late. Awful, but it seems to be how it is. My Dad was always busy when I was younger, for awhile he was actually out of state 5 days of the week and only home on sunday.

I found my sister's phone and found out she is dating her science teacher. She's 14 and he's 35.
I confronted her about this and she says she loves him and she's not being taken advantage of. She wants me to stay quiet and is bribing me with half her allowance.

In china you don't even need a college degree and misdemeanors won't even be looked at, as long as you can speak English fluently
I've got a buddy teaching English in Beijing just now. It's just a temporary thing while he figures out what he wants to do/where he wants to be in life. I think his pay is decent for what he does - circa $2000+ a month, while I'm on about double that with the same engineering degree from the same uni, but in England.
I know it was pretty hard to get started. He pretty much had to actually go there before anyone would offer him anything. I think it's to do with a lot of people saying they'll do it, and then the agency sorting out paperwork, before...

So I waited ten years to finally have a chance at dating my best friend. At it looked like a sinch. We were great friends for over a decade. She finally broke up with her abusive boyfriend of six years. And I was there for her all the way. The problem was I had to finish college in another state. But we kept in vigorous touch despite that.
Once college was finally out of the way, I moved over to her town to start our new life together. However, she had a guy friend for about a year prior to her break-up. And they were just too close for my comfort. She was almost always snuggling up to him. And, aside from me, she spent more time hanging out with him than her any of her other friends. She kept trying to argue that there was nothing going on between them; that it was a friendship and nothing more. But I still didn't feel right about it.
So I begged her to cut things off with him, which just led to endless arguments. She was so determined on keeping him in her life, and never listened to how I didn't like her around him -- how it never stopped making me uncomfortable. After several months of deliberation, I got to my breaking point and told her that if she wasn't going to drop him, I was going to leave and never speak to her again. She finally complied and dropped him, even if it left in her tears for weeks after.
I was so relieved and happy. But then things took a turn for the worst...
