My sister is a woman-child, but how can I help her before she crashes and burns?

Basically, she never wants to spend her money on necessities because she thinks my mom or grandparents are supposed to pay for them. Any time she is confronted about this, she cries and ignores us.
I want to help her, but is there any other way to let her let us help? Do I just have to watch her crash and burn?
Your mom's gonna have to put her out, and you all have to let her hit hardships. She's 24, she can be a grownup.

My dad is attempting to offer help as well. But my sister hasn't talked to him in 9 years, also from another stubborn tantrum she had with him as a teen. Like, she's digging the hole further and it's just annoying and also saddening to see.

There's no way for you to make her see unless she wants to see. Only solution is for your mom to be adamant, and if she doesn't pay then she gets kicked out. Same with the car, only solution is for her to not be given another car. you can offer to buy the car off her for a fair price and fix it for yourself though, giving her a little extra cash to buy a shitter car for herself.

The point is that 20 is not especially far from the average.

No, it's far simpler.
We're alike in many ways, you and I. Age, habits, fears.

I am fucking bored of mine so much, I literally just feel frustrated and angry when she tries to talk to me, nothing is ever fun, it always comes off as if she's pretending to care about the topic just to please me or try get attention out of me, but it never feels genuine.

I've never had a girl that could talk particularly intelligently about most subjects, and it's the #1 complaint I hear from my friends about their women.
Granted, some of these girls are pretty smart, its just their scope of knowledge is very, very, very narrow. Try talking to her about something she's passionate about and ask her questions about it. She's trying to talk to you about UFC shit because she likes you and wants to try and relate and talk about stuff you like.
Flip it around, try talking about stuff she likes.
This is by no means a guarantee. I fucked a girl for awhile where we basically never really spoke about anything other than how short a skirt she was wearing at work that day. I tried to get her to talk about something and she just made references to LOTR for two hours.
