Basically, I don't want burst out crying (I can hardly grasp what her parents must feel). The worst part is that she's 7 years old and diagnosed with a brain tumor.

At what point should I see a doctor for a burn?
It's definitely at least mildly infected, but I don't want to wait at the hospital for 8 hours for someone to tell me to wash it in alcohol and slap a bandage on it.
I'll probably go to a walk in clinic tomorrow morning (they're closed here now) but until then I'm curious if someone here has knowledge or experience with burns and infections.

I need advice from anyone with a B.A in psychology.

What kind of jobs can I look for with a B.A in psych, I don't really wanna pursue post graduate psych studies, but will likely go back to a tech school for a cheap B.A in IT so I can actually get a good job. Looking for something to pay bills in the meantime.

Hello /adv/. Posted this a week ago with not many suggestions. Figure I'd try again.
I'm about to graduate with a BS in Biochemistry. Not really sure what I want to do after college. I've got some work experience, managing fairly large budgets($20k/wk), supervising employees but not much actual science lab experience. I'm not sure how easy it's going to be to find work with my bachelors. Gonna graduate with a 3.7 major and 3.3 cumulative.
I'm pretty interested in intensive care medicine and have a hard on for adrenaline and thinking about getting a paramedic certification. I think that would be a pretty fun job and since my GPA isn't great I could use it as a segue for medical school if I choose that route. I know paramedics don't make a ton of money but I don't really need much to live on anyway. My hobbies aren't expensive and I don't drink/smoke/eat out. I also don't have any student loans nor will I need to pay for housing(I own my own home outright).
I'm also considering enlisting in the Army, pulling a Ranger contract as a medic since I'm fairly fit and it would fit my interests. Any other ideas?

Unless you want to max out at like $55K as an industry lab tech, you're not going much of anywhere with a BS alone.
Have you considered just continuing on to the MS and picking up some more career experience along the way?

Currently scoring around a 250 on the APFT but that's getting better every month. Pararescue is definitely another interest, but the pipeline is probably the most difficult out of all SOF pipelines and failure bumps you back to some pogue ass job for 4 years which would be shitty. It's why I'm looking more at going out for Ranger. Plus being medical support to one of the greatest light infantry groups in the world would be fuckin rad.

My uni is a top 20 business school, getting an MBA requires getting into that college and another couple years of school. I'm not really looking to rack up more degrees at this point. And an MBA wouldn't be my first choice.

Had a similar situation with my ex, OP.
There's only one way to do it, just be upfront and respectful. Next time you're alone with her (at home) throw her the : "Can I ask you something, and this might sound weird" and tell her that you've noticed some personal hygiene issue. Try phrasing it gently like "would you maybe consider hair removal in certain area's", maybe call it "distracting" during sex rather than gross or disgusting.
It might also help if you find (or invent) something about your own personal hygiene which you have or used to have or plan to work on to make her feel less awkward about it.
In any case, you're just going to have to bite the bullet on this one. Chances are though, that if she's a cool girl, she won't be offended or depressed, just embarassed, which isn't the end of the world
