I missed the chapter in the "rules of texting" book that says that
I met a really, really great girl about two months ago. I never have much friends, I just don't want to go out with people I'm not that interested in, it has to be someone special. She sees it the same way and we spend most of the time we're at dorm together. Both at uni.
The thing is, not long after we met she told me about her long lasting relationship with a girl which ended last summer. But she also briefly told me about a guy she used to date for a while before the girl.
I don't know what to do now...I love spending time with her and I can see that she likes it too. What is the best long-term solution for a single missing tooth, implant or partial denture?
Can anyone with either of them share their experiences? Pros and cons of each?
From what I've read so far implants can possibly cause problems because of the oxidation of the titanium, while dentures can decay surrounding teeth and lessen the bone density of your jaw, but I'm really not sure what to believe since apparently not having a denture/implant replace your missing tooth also lessens the bone density.

The best solution long term is to have an implant. Though it depend son how much you are bothered by having a gap there, and whether you feel that the pros of having a permanent implant outweigh a denture, or not having anything at all.
FYI, the titanium's surface layer is oxidized before it is inserted.

The gap itself doesn't bother me, it's far in the back and not noticeable.
But the dentist told me all other teeth adjacent to it will be realigned/messed up, and the above tooth will fall out eventually. And I've also read that the lack of pressure on the bone will cause its density to go down make the jaw/chin look older than it actually is.

I've had it for around 3 years now, since age 22, I'm 25 now. Certainly no changes to anything else. I don't think about it at all really.
I'm not sure how the tooth will fall out, as it is quite literally screwed onto the implant itself. If it becomes damaged it can be easily replaced.
