I think I have accidentally become a manwhore... I am not a very attractive guy, I don't try to be, but something has been happening recently that is really strange. How do I know if this interest is fleeting? How do I know if I'm supposed to be in this relationship? Should I be impractical and start working on my a van with 3 years left or just get a car and live a normal life? What things exist where I can do exercises and collaborate with others on creative projects outside of paying for it like in school?

Only time will tell if this interest of yours is fleeting.
You may want to write and draw for a living, but have a backup plan. Many young people want to do this, but the odds of finding a job doing that are pretty slim--at least a job that can support a family.
If you want to do the cross country thing--nothing wrong with that. As a matter of fact, it's best to do it while you're still young without major responsibilities.
Only you know about the relationship. Do you get along well otherwise?

My girlfriend recently started seeing a counselor to work through some anxiety/depression related issues. I thought that was all well and good, but then she came back after a session and said her counselor wanted her to try this thing called Alpha Stim. The idea behind the device is that you clip two little things to your ears, and for about 20 minutes a few times a week, you sit there and let it pass current through your head and that somehow cures your anxiety or depression or insomnia etc.
I looked it up and discovered that it's no more than a gameboy-sized plastic box with a 9 volt battery in it, with two leads coming out that you clip to your ear lobes. This thing runs for $800 retail, $120 a month to rent it. Forget the fact that a 9v battery doesn't have nearly enough power to send current through your entire skull. Forget the fact that it was grandfathered into the FDA's approval because similar technology was available prior to 1976, and therefore it hasn't actually been tested by modern standards. Forget the fact that every study done on it was on a group of about 12 people all from the same community and nothing was double or even single blind. Forget the fact that to use it, you must be in a quiet space doing deep breathing, which sounds suspiciously similar to meditating - something that has similar results and doesn't cost $800.

What the fuck do I do if my neighbors dogs literally will never shut the fuck up. I have these 2 separate old redneck couples that have literally NO respect or disregard for others. Every day they let their dogs go and it fucks with the other neighbors dogs and they just run up and down the fence howling and barking loud as fuck. They do this every fucking day sometimes 10 o'clock at night, sometimes 6 in the morning and other random times early in the morning.
One of the couples lets their dogs out and they just run around town and they've been known to be aggressive. They run through everyone's yard, attack other people's animals including my small cat, I've literally seen their dog wander through my yard and the owners chase after it, like the fucking audacity they literally come into my yard when they know I hate them.
So I reported it to the retarded hick "dog warden" multiple times over years they literally never answered once. I tried reporting it to the police and they just tell me to contact the retarded dog warden who again does nothing but ignore me.
They ignore the dogs for hours while they bark and howl at the most rediculous times. Now I feel like I'm going to get in trouble because I've been vandalizing their property, breaking beer bottles in their driveway, and yelling and screaming at them from my porch, but if a cop comes I am going to refuse to take any tickets and charges and tell them that they should of done their job instead of making me do all that stupid shit. I'm not going to just sit idle while these cock suckers disrespect everyone around us and be inconsiderate as fuck

Wait until it's dark, then put out a couple of bowls filled with propylene glycol. It tastes quite sweet, and animals just love to drink it (make sure you keep your cat inside while doing this). Once the dogs have drunk their fill, take the bowls away and make sure to give them a good scrub in hot water before you put them away. Almost every time I'm in public with my mother and she's with friends , or mine, she'll make little jokes about me about how dumb I am.
If I struggle to do something she'll laugh to someone that "I'm not very bright" or that "I was never the smart one" or that I was "born blond". I get very defensive over this probably because I lack any self esteem to begin with, and the second I do bite back at her she gets really angry and yells at me that she was joking or fucking with me and that I should take a joke.

It's a bit of a long story. A couple of years ago, I grew a bit distant due to work-related stress. Instead of communicating, she started flirting with this online friend. I found out, we had a talk and she begged me to give her another chance, promising she'd fix everything. Naturally, I was hurt. I felt betrayed and showed it to her every given opportunity.
In hindsight, while I had every right to be upset, I decided to give her another chance and thus I should've made an effort to heal aswell. And not made her feel bad at random just because I felt bad.
She started feeling depressed due to several reasons, including that.
Until one day she said she was leaving. She had decided she couldn't be happy with me anymore and wasn't worth trying again simply because we were invariably going to fail at it.
So she left. We kept in touch. Turns out a week after she told me she was leaving, she "found out" she was having feeling for a friend of hers (different friend). She moved back to her parents and she started a relationship with that long distance friend of hers, although she claimed it was just "an understanding, nothing official". A month after moving, she tells me they made it official. And two months later, she tells me she's going to spend some time at his place.
I'm sure they'll both see this post. He, at the very least, will find this all amusing. He never liked me and they both lied to me about it.
I'm not ashamed of this post or feeling like shit. It happened, it happens to people all the time. I'm hurting and I don't wish 1% of any of this upon anyone. Including them, as much as they may or may not deserve.

Hey /adv/, how do I kill a major infestation of fleas as fast and as cheap as possible?
I lost a cat that I've had for more than half of my life to fleas last week, so the war is officially on. I'm going to be the Hitler of fleas if that's what it takes. I'm waking up with literal hundreds of them on my body and even more in my hair. They have infested every crevice of my house, upstairs and downstairs. I now have three cats who have been treated with Frontline, but due to the sheer number of fleas I don't think it's going to be effective. What can I do to rid myself of these fuckers?
I've heard about diatomaceous earth and I'm waiting for some to ship to me, but does it really work or did I waste my money? I also have flea foggers that I'm going to use before the DE gets here. What other steps can I take to make sure my other pets survive the summer? I'm leary about trying other chemical methods because some people say they work great, others say they don't, and I don't know who to believe.

Honestly I'd say kill your disgusting animals. Animals do not belong in a house, they're filthy and disease-ridden. Having cats is retarded.
Rip out your carpet, that is where they lay their eggs. Throw out everything you can or at least lay it in the yard under a tarp for a month or two. Clean the house head to toe, drown the fucking nasty cats and throw them out back in the woods. If you must, use that powder or a poison of some sort, but removing everything from the house should have helped dramatically. I'd honestly recommend living in a tent for a while, because if you go back in the fleas will just dogpile you and live in your bedding and clothes. There, solved.

Our flea problem wasn't nearly as bad as yours, but the topical treatments like Frontline seems to not help us at all. We switched to Comfortis, which required a prescription from our vet. But it has worked like magic.
Furthermore, you need to vacuum. A lot. Twice a day. Empty it as well. Wash all your clothes, all your bedding, rugs, anything that can be washed, on high heat, once or twice per week - if not more. Use the DE, put it EVERYWHERE. Even put it on your cats, cover them in it. It won't hurt them if they lick it off, it's actually good for fighting internal parasites too. The fogger is also a good start.
The key to this fight is persistence. You have to constantly be working to fight off the infestation.

We've used other brands like Pet Armor and Sergeant and they never seemed to work, so if Frontline doesn't work I might just have to visit a vet and get a script. I know vets charge you out the ass but if its going to help my cats and me, I'll do whatever it takes.
I end up vacuuming once a day as soon as I wake up, but I'll try vacuuming more than once. I don't have a washer/dryer at my house so washing everything constantly is going to be a pain in the ass and the wallet.
If I put DE directly on my cats, won't that dehydrate them? They're losing a fair amount of blood from the fleas as it is, I don't want to overdo it and kill them.
