Man, sorry to hear your family/brother are going through that right now. Has your mother considered seeing a counsellor or social worker about your brother's behaviour? These situations are complex and I just don't think 4chan can provide the best advice for you. You can talk to your doctor about local agencies that help with drug abuse and mental health problems. Meth users tend to deteriorate pretty quickly, so I think getting a professional involved now would be a really good idea.

As a former abuser of drugs, my advice would be to kick him out of the house. He is not going to stop until the consequences become severe enough for him to want to changet, and while the level of severity varies from person to person, he probably won't stop while he has a roof over his head and food to eat. Give him some tough love and do not enable him in any way. It will still take a while for him to come around, and he will more than likely need the assistance of a recovery group of some kind, but there is hope.
I got accepted to the college of my dreams (for anonymity sake, will only say it is HYPSM). my best friend/ex girlfriend tried to hang herself the other day because she doesn't feel accepted in her household and everyone treats her like shit. luckily she survived but now she's stuck in the psych ward and i miss her so much. it hurts to imagine her almost being gone forever. it's already suffering that she isn't around to talk to anymore.

a hobby is only a hobby if you enjoy it. otherwise its simply slave labor. my advice is to take something you already enjoy and reverse engineer that. like video games? design one. like music? write some (or rather, start by learning to play an instrument). like books? write one. like movies? make one. comics? draw one.
productive hobbies produce something. even if its just carpentry. but obviously oyu mean what are some fun things to do that you can meet people. for that i have some copy pastable advice. it was written to teach people how to find and meet women, but it works a LOT better for making friends.
